Choice Place for Faith & spirituality in Washington DC, when turbulence & hostility remains in the society. Catholic church with courteous staff, holy masses early morning and at noon, feast days in the evening. Ample space for parishioners with social distancing, small landscaped garden to sit or contemplate.
The traditional Latin Mass at 9 am was beautiful, very well attended and the priest's sermon was strong. Relic of Blessed Karl of Austria awesome! If ever in DC will go again!
I absolutely. Love church of Saint. Mary in Chinatown DC. The service is so beautiful, It is warm and Living and healing !
This church is in the heart of DC, very beautiful, reverent, traditional architecture. I went to the Saturday evening Mass after the March for Life, and the church was quite full of visitors like myself. The priest was very welcoming, had a very clear, orthodox homily. The inside of the church in the beauty of the liturgy makes it easy to praise God while at the church
We kove this church! It has lots of character and Father DeRosa is an amazing priest and human being.
Beautiful church.... yet Unfriendly, unwelcoming, never in my life have seen a priest holding mass wearing chancletas. On the positive side... the organ playing impressive. I could feel a faith filled church! no mask wearing! we were not affraid of offering the sign of peace!
Beautiful church in close proximity to Chinatown and the busy parts of DC. They have daily masses and a number of masses on weekends. Warm and welcoming to new parishioners and the priest is awesome. His sermons are very beneficial. Not alot of parking in the area.
We were talking by and just happened to notice the doors were unlocked and so of course we went in. It was stunning!!!!! Absolutely beautiful. I was in awe at the beauty of the place. Historic things really fascinate me and I was so glad we wondered in. The priest was even inside and didn't seem to be bothered by a few tourists checking out the place.
Mass for the Memorial of Blessed Karl of Austria was absolutely magnificent! The choir truly rose to this august occasion, giving sublime support to the Sacred Liturgy. Gratitude and prayers of thanksgiving for Rev. Fr. Vincent DeRosa, Priests, altar servers, Julius Jackson, Suzanne Pearson, and everyone involved with organization of this beautiful Mass!
I went as a visitor for the first time, the church was open .. I started praying when a woman came and to me " to get out of the church " I told her to give me a few minutes so I can just close my prayer she said NO by the way she had a man there with her and he said nothing.. When I got outside I asked him if he was a seminarian he say he played the organ at the church.. so I tried to call the catholic pastor of the church NO one returned my call yet
