Lord Jesus Christ our God, Cornerstone of Your holy Church, Giver of every good gift, the One who first loved us, look down upon us Your people who desire to build a temple unto Your glory in memory of Your saint Nicolas and grant us the wisdom, strength, and resources to accomplish this task in accordance with Thy will.
An amazing place of worship that is truly enlightening. Father John makes worship fun and casual. If you are searching for a church family, please consider visiting our church.
If I could give zero stars, I would... this church hates homeless people and will call the cops on you if you so much as walk through their parking lot if you’re homeless. Probably also if you’re not. I’ve been to a lot of orthodox churches and never been treated like this. Also this place is ghetto and not in the greatest area. Go to a different church. These people are hypocrites.
You can feel the love emanating from the service. This church has many philanthropic programs including one at Trailer City.
Wonderful Church, community and ladies group. Their Greek food is excellent
Groundskeeper was leering at young boys, all I did was walk through the parking lot with my nephews. He needs to be in jail.
We went for Easter 3 years ago Friday and Saturday evening sessions when we happened to be in VA Beach during that holiday. Probably the best Orthodox Easter Service we had in the US, ever! Nice and small congregation, felt very comfortable even though we were "outsiders". BTW, what prompted me to review this church is that there is an idiot that has commented here that the priest is a complete jerk and ass! Nothing could be further from the truth at least the one we met when we went couldn't have been nicer! If you look at that idiot's reviews he's blasting all Orthodox/Coptic churches he reviews within a couple of weeks BTW with the same idiotic comments. Obviously has an agenda and I feel sorry for him, but just wanted to set the record straight with my first hand experience here! :-
Wonderful parish close to I-264, next to Trader Joe's. Father John is amazingly insightful and caring. The parishioners are very welcoming and friendly. Please stop by and worship with us.
“ Keep traveling steadily ~ Keep doing the right thing ~ Keep being good to people ~ Keep expecting ~ Keep believing “ Great group of people here ~ As a guest visiting ~ Father John ~ coupled with the entire body were eager to know who I was while complimenting me with warm reception ~ Thank you guys for the Love This is a beautiful church with great structure ~ The anointment I found here seemed to be prevalent and authentic ~
Love this place..!!! You want to connect with God, this is the place to be. Excellent people and an excellent way to worship in the Greek traditional way.
