St. Panteleimon Russian Orthodox Church

Came here to join in the celebrations for the Feast Day of St. Panteleimon as a pilgrim seeking the saint's intercession for a specific intention. What a beautiful church! The liturgy was beautiful, prayerful and we were very touched even though most of it was in Russian which we could not understand. We were welcomed with smiles and kind words. We did bring headcoverings with foresight for the possibility of a tradition for women wearing them, which was indeed the case. Most wore beautiful scarves. The church itself is very beautiful with innumerable gorgeous icons. I felt as if it were a window into heaven. Tall candles of varying widths are available for affordable purchase at the door for prayer intentions which contribute to the lighting of the sacred liturgy. Thank you St. Panteleimon's Church for welcoming us and helping me in my petition to this saint.
