We are so happy we made the decision to apply to St. Peter for seventh grade. If you are looking for a small private school, small classes, rigorous academics, diversity, a beloved community, and a caring faculty and staff, look no further. My son absolutely loves his new school, teachers, and classmates. Our only regret is not finding St. Peter Claver many years ago!
My family and I love St. Peter Claver. My son really enjoy the time he spend at his new school. The classes are small, he love his teachers, classmates, and the community. This was the BEST decision.
This is the first year of my sons at SPC. The experience has been everything we could hope for. The smaller class sizes 13 kids versus 28 last year in public school, more individualized attention, minimal amounts of standardized testing and academic rigor has allowed both boys to grow more academically than would have been previously possible. The staff and administration are fantastic. They are enthusiastic, committed to and work very hard to provide a great learning environment. My sons' teachers communicate with us regularly through personal emails and class newsletters. Mrs. Greenwood, the principal, greets each student every morning as they arrive.and is a tireless advocate for SPC we see her at Mass promoting events regularly. She was this year's Principal of the Year for the Atlanta Archdiocese. Multiple forms of tuition assistance both need-based and grants are available to help defray the cost of attendance and make this education affordable regardless of househhold income. SPC is a terrific school in the heart of South Dekalb.
Moved my son to this school just about one year ago. He is much happier here than he was at his last school. It is a small school and staff members know all the children. Great alternative to the DeKalb County Schools in the same area that are under performing.
