St Peter & Paul Orthodox Church

As with many other denominations all claim historic roots beyond all others.... In watching the intro to Orthodox Christianity, there are some very good teachings and some teachings that are creations of human fantacy. It is interesting how denominations protect the error with the truth to set themselves apart. I would suggest reading the words in red of a red letter edition Bible. You will see the gospel message as presented by Christ Himself. Understanding the kingdom and seeking that, first every day, before any decission, is key. The closser you come to Christ and understand him, the more you know the Father. For it was Christ Himself who has revealed and reveals the Father to us. If we live the mind of Christ and respond to life through the fruit of His spirit, THAT is kingdom living and we can do no better than that.

I visited this church on a trip to Miami, and I found a place to pray with a group of warm parishioners, a surprisingly lovely choir, and a loving priest. Even though far from my actual home, this felt like home.
