Stainless Cable & Railing’s aluminum systems are a unique design of predrilled, powder coated, newel posts created for use with stainless steel wire rope and fittings. Our aluminum hand rail systems are available in 5 outstanding colors which consist of white, clay, silver, bronze, and black. Each terminal, or end post, are strengthened with a patented interior webbing to enhance post stability. The added webbing helps to prevent bowing of the post created by the stresses of tensioning cables. These railing systems can be mounted on either the top of the deck, along the side of the fascia board, or even core mounted into concrete. For your top rail, we offer a flat rectangular, rounded shape, and narrow post-to-post rail, as well as various bracket options for using any wood top rail of your choice.

Our 1/8” stainless steel cable has a breaking load of nearly 1900 pounds while our 3/16” cable is over 4700 pounds.

ASSURANCE
At Stainless Cable & Railing we work hard to make sure our railing systems meet International building code. In order to meet the required 4 inch deflection, which is how far two parallel cables can be spread apart, our aluminum posts come standard pre-drilled at 3 inch spacing on center. After proper tensioning, along with a maximum spacing between posts of 5 feet, your cable railing will meet cable deflection. Building code typically requires either a railing height of 36 inch (common for homes) or a 42 inch height (usually required for commercial applications).

Sometimes there is no need to completely remove your old rail when cable railing can simply spruce up what you already have. For those who wish to retain part of an existing railing system cable railing is versatile enough to be integrated into your present wood, stone, or metal system. To make your installation even easier Stainless Cable & Railing offers the additional service of professionally swaging the fittings onto your cable to assist those looking for a faster and cleaner installation.
