Unable to resolve $6 debt Stallings financial has put on my name made contact with office , states they do not have me in their system by name or birth date..Lady was rude, asked her how did she get my name to say I owe Internal Medicine a $6 debt? Again she got defensive, I do not owe $6 but willing to pay just to get off my credit, she says "I don't Know" I hired Lexington law firm to pay them $24 dollars a month to contact Stalling financial to no avail, so I canceled them..I feel scammed by Stallings Financial and their incompetent staff Help this is the USA!
I received a call about a debt I owe that I had no clue about. When I asked where it was from, James was extremely rude and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. When I would ask him anything, he’d say, “ oh boy, here we go!” and start talking to me as if I’m slow. I asked for them to send me another bill in the mail since I never received the “many” they sent me, and I was refused. Finally reached someone else named Ms. Williams and she was no better. I told her I had no idea where this bill was from and I was afraid they were scamming me and she laughed in my face. I asked her to send me another bill and she told me she already had. She confirmed my address with me after I asked her to twice and it was the WRONG address. Clearly I can’t pay a bill that I never received in the first place due to their own mistake. Both people I spoke with were extremely rude and verbally abusive. They must live miserable, pathetic lives if this is how they treat people for absolutely no reason.
So received a call from MS WILLIAMS. This nasty...."person" was told that the creditor had obligations not met and she decided to snap back with "its not my credit" and some other sparky comment. Asked for a supervisor, of course she is the floor sup. Then asked for HER super again of course she doesn't have one. Just finished a treatment and was NOT going to deal with this silly woman and her faux threats. So since they hire people like this let's find out how they like to be spoken to and snarked at.....
Mrs. Williams the Floor Supervisor has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experience. Completely unprofessional she tells me the only way to get in contact with the original creditor is to "GOOGLE" them.... When it clears states on the letter to Write back for the agency to provide a phone number and Address. She proceeded to yell at me and insult my intelligence and then when I told he I did not appreciate how she is talking to me she hung up on me. If there is a way to get this woman fired I would gladly do what is necessary.
The worst people I rven spoke with, I called to pay a collector debt and they telling me that they are working with the city of Marietta and that they can't lower the payment. First of collector ppl buy debts and then go after you to get the money back. The guy over the phone was rude the way he was speaking to me. I asked to be transferred to someone who had the same energy as him and keep going back and forth with me about working with the city of Marietta and not buying debts. I like what do you care I am paying you money and you want to argue. And when I asked multiple times did I just paid you what I owe "THE CITY OF MARIETTA" she keeps on telling me that I call them liar.
Sent me a debt collection letter. The letter was dated 02/21/2022. On that same page is stated, contact us by 02/20/2022 to dispute this collection. So I get a collection letter for a debt that is non existent since the bill city utility was paid 2 months prior to this letter being sent. And I have a payment confirmation from the city. But also the letter is sent 1 day after I am able to dispute. So I get a hit on my credit that will not go away for a while because of the incompetence of others.
Ms Williams is a funky witch! I tried to explain to her that I am a veteran and the VA has been trying to reach them to pay the debt since July! She refuses to take the information so the department of veterans affairs can pay them off. She got very hostile and rude. Kept talking over me and before hanging up in my face started “That’s why it’s on your credit!” I’ve disputed this debt with all major credit bureaus since they refuse to take the money from the VA. That woman needs to be fired PERIOD!
This group of people are the worst! I am trying to pay a supposed bill we never received one from the hospital for my daughter who is barely over 19 and you would think they are the FBI. I am getting interrogated about the phone number we call from, credit card used, etc. I have paid off cars easier than this $600. I thought they wanted to collect the alleged debt?!? They are all extremely rude. I was called a liar, she wouldn’t take the payment until my husband got on the phone and had to get really nasty with her. Furthermore, I cannot believe a reputable hospital uses this antiquated company. Ms Williams was the person we dealt with. She definitely works for the right company.
A guy called me and asked who I was. I had to put my phone on speaker so I could hear him better. I said “Hello” twice to see hear him better and he said “So you’re going to play that trick.” And hung up in my face. Very rude! Idk how they think they will get anywhere with anyone being unprofessional!
This company truly deserves 0 stars. I received a collection call from Olivia about a past due account that she was attempting to collect a debt for. It was my first time receiving a call from this company, I did not have the money at the moment, and I was at work. I wasn't in a position to be able to discuss it with her. I did attempt to ask her more information about the original debt as I did not remember not paying a bill from 2016. Olivia would not give me information as to the original bill, but instead, she began to verbally assault me. She said, "You don't know when you'll be able to pay this bill from 2016! They gave you plenty of time to pay this! The collection calls will continue!" At that point, she hung up the phone before I had the opportunity to respond. I eventually contacted the doctor's office from which the bill originated. It was from services rendered during my pregnancy and I had simply overlooked the bill as you get several separate bills when having a baby. Many times, the bills are sent more than once as they may be adjusted after the hospital/doctor corresponds with insurance. This is a long post, but I wanted to share that you do not have to pay the collection agency if you get a call from them. You can, at that point, pay your debtor directly. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company for any reason!!
