Excellent staff. Dr. DeMelo is personable and professional. He explained to me the treatment plan for my wife who has a toenail fungus and set us up to receive the medication through the mail order company!!
I would recommend Stamford Podiatry Group in a heartbeat!!!

I would strongly recommend Stamford Podiatry, they have been fantastic! 

I found Stamford Podiatry on ZocDoc and decided to book an appointment based on the great reviews. From the minute I met Dr. DeMelo and discussed my problem, I was instantly relieved from his diagnosis and options given. He made me feel reassured and less-anxious straight away. 

I had hallux limitus and a bunion on my left foot which I've had all my life and knew at some point I'd have to do something about it. Over the years when I've mentioned the surgery required for this problem to people they have been very quick to express how horrific and painful the operation is and how long recovery time is etc. which naturally put me off surgery. However, this was quite the opposite with Dr. DeMelo, I expressed my concerns and he instantly made me feel much better and I straight away decided to go for the surgery. It was the best decision I've made and I'm now going back into all of my shoes. Woo! The surgery and recovery was seamless from beginning to end. I had little to no pain at all and only used my painkillers on 3-4 occasions more for expectant pain that never ever came. I can't thank Dr. DeMelo and his team enough. I am truly grateful for the experience I've had and to have a brand new toe all thanks to SP!

The Office staff is extremely competent, friendly and always willing to help thus, making the patient feel welcomed.  Our doctor, Dr Lago is the kind of Podiatrist whose expertise, his knowledge of Podiatry and his ability to know his patients makes him a fantastic doctor.  The fact that after moving to Redding, CT (20 miles) from his offioce we continue as his patients speaks very highly of the Stamford Podiatry Group.We have been his patients since living in Stamford and from the moment he jopined the Stamford Podiatry practice.

Dr. Demelo is a straight up crook. Made orthodox that don't fit my uncle's feet. My uncle consulted him about food pain and the crook said that in order to get rid of the pain he would have to get surgery. After consulting with his family doctor it turned out all my uncle had was callus in his feet.
