Star Castle Family Entertainment Center

What a great roller skating environment with an excellent wood floor, great music, and food available for the kiddies. The building is actually a castle with a moat and dragon outside and also laser tag for those so inclined . Very nice staff and generally clean. Highly recommended for any age skater. I'm 69 years old and had a great time today.

The manager working on April 21,2018 service is horrible she do not meet paying customers needs and she lacks with her communication she will cause the star castle to lose business. she also stated they do not provide refunds because they are privately own no where on the receipt does it state no refunds will be given. The horrible manager put a 12 year old and 16 year old our the skating rink without a proper cause they wasn’t getting in trouble or being disrespectful but one of our adult members left who signed them in did, but more adults of our family was still their her nonchalant attitude did not want to hear that. no where on the receipt said no refunds but instead she said with an attitude we are privately own she was heavy set rude. If she can stay out these men face and do her job but I will be contacting a corporate office Along with videos

This place is horrible with customer service last night me and my wife and three kids witness a manager treating a customer like trash. I was not please with the service she encounter i really want to give the young lady and her sons their money out of my pocket. The service was unfair as i stood and over heard what took place the lady ask for her money back because the kids was not able to skater no longer than 30 minutes which was understandable i work in the hospitality business for 16 years and i never witness a manager to treat someone so poorly it was so bad my wife had the kids to pack up and leave. I live 10 minutes away from the skating rink in Pooler, Georgia but my kids assist on going to mall blvd location to meet with friends who live in that area . I was so eager to see what will take place i stood near by to over hear the young lady say the property is own by private owners meaning no corporate office and other words i can treat you however i look on bottom of my bill to see no statement saying you cant be refund but instead a total price of your purchase another no,no for a business. who is the owner of this skating rink and why wasn't he called as officers who stood around they did nothing as matter fact kids was falling no one did nothing. The short woman had on a ball cap and smirk the entire time as if it was funny that the kids could not partake in the activities you facility had to offer but this was a (manager) my kids and i will never go back as long as it ran by that manager. Then i hear the young was banned from the skating well my suggestion is the manager needs to be fired because the woman only ask what i felt was right what if it was your kids who couldn't participate regardless if no parent was their i saw the young lady went to get another family member and still they was told get out is this how you treat kids.

I just moved to the area I highly recommend Castle Family for family entertainment...It's affordable the food is on point.....The staff is amazing the way they monitor the children incredible....The set up is nice I will taking my son back on a regular....Also this place is perfect for parties for children and grown -ups as well...

Hubby got stationed here 2 months ago and we are avid skaters and were excited to see there was a skating rink so close to where we lived! The outside is really cute with a castle motif dragon and all. Super cute. Inside they have an arcade, laser tag and skating rink plus a snack bar. We were really only interested in the rink so we went inside to put on our skates. They kept going with the castle theme inside with knights everywhere. But its really dark in there and small. The lighting is minimal at best. The carpet is in need of replacement there are threads showing in a lot of places but what really matters is the floor so we got out there. Don't let the pics of the rink they have posted deceive you. Boy where do I start. There is zero coating left on the floor. It's bare wood. So very slick to say the least. There are several dips in the wood. The floor is like running over railroad tracks everywhere. Not smooth at all. It needs to be sanded down to level it, refinished and coated so bad it's ridiculous. Seriously Star Castle, this was a very expensive floor when you put it in how come you don't take care of it? Not too crowded but there were a couple of birthday parties there. There was a floor guard but his main focus was working on his footwork. There were people going in the wrong direction, these weird white triangle things just standing in the way and still the floor guard worked on his moves in the middle. Couldn't skate too fast due to the slickness of the floor but we still got thirsty so we went to the snack bar. That is quite difficult to do on skates. I am not sure what this floor is made of but it seemed like it had seen better days. There were chucks of it missing and it would stop you from rolling causing me to stumble. The ladies room was in need of repair as on of the toilet seats (the one I was on) moved all over the place when I sat on it. It looks really old in there too. We didn't play in the arcade or laser tag so I can't really say anything about that. But overall this place really needs a remodel. Don't think we will be back, Hubby complained it may be ruining our wheels. Such a shame it could be a nice place to skate if the floor were done right.
