This was my favourite Starbucks in all of Cupertino. We generally kept clean despite the high volume of people, and the staff made an extreme effort to get your order perfect. Even compensated me a gift card with an order was very delayed, which was a very nice gesture even though I wasn’t angry or complaining, they took preemptive measure to ensure that this experience was justified. I find it to be a very high-volume restaurant however if you order on your mobile device that this is not a problem. There’s great sitting room for working if your company allows. Washrooms are also pretty clean the times I’ve used them
Friendly and experienced baristas. My only problem is that I have been here 4 times in the morning and each time I had to wait over 20 minutes for a sausage sandwich. Slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. It wasn't even busy like most get. It could be the mobile orders who knows.
This store is in a great location if you're staying in one of the close by hotels, unfortunately it stops there. The parking lot is perpetually full with patrons from all of the stores in the plaza. The lines are long, the service is at the lower end of what I've experienced at any Starbucks, and due to the shape of the store, there is minimal seating if you're planning on staying to do some work. I'd suggest going to any of the other locations on Steven's Creek for a better experience.
The staff is very nice, and drinks are made well. However, I have been in to the store at about 6am for 4 mornings in a row and each time the place is dirty. Arriving early in the morning means no one is cleaning in the evenings. The bathroom had toilet paper all over the floor, fecal matter on the toilet, no paper towels...I could go on. It was more than gross. The table I sat at had food, hairs, etc. on it. I would have at least expected staff washes off the tables before opening. The floor wasn't swept and was particularly dirty under the tables.
I only come here in the morning before i go into work. I get my coffee fix every so often. The ppl there are nice. It's just like any other Starbucks.
Unusually bad today. Usually this location is ok, not sure what happened. Walked in at 11:20am and wanted a breakfast sandwich, they didn’t have any breakfast sandwiches so I settled for a cheese danish. Turned out they were out of almost all their food, including what was in the display case. So I said ok what do you have and they gave me a free breakfast roll and apologized for the inconvenience. Ordered my coffee with LIGHT ice and they filled the cup to almost full with ice. They were out of napkins at the little station with straws and sugar and stuff, asked about it and they said they’re completely out but can give me a paper towel. One girl making drinks, and two more employees standing behind the food and watching. It’s looking like poor management, BUT I’ve had satisfactory experiences at this Starbucks a few years ago so I’ll leave it at 3 stars instead of 2.
Too much wait to get a cup of coffee! 4 people and no one at the cashier. I had to wait a long time to get a coffee, to get the cream that was empty and to get the spill stopper! I was really annoyed and wanted to leave. Not getting any coffee that by the way was not good!
Starbucks speaks for itself. The wait staff always seem so nice and helpful. I haven't noticed any tip jars. They're quite prominent in Minnesota where I'm from.
People's reviews reflect their expectation vs. experience, in the best case. So my expectations from a Starbucks location are: 0. Fast wifi read: Google wifi and power outlets near "my tables". See below.: > This place has consistently over 15 Mbps downloads. Only once in about 20 visits was the wifi down. 1. Well-lit lot of sunlight, spacious, individual tables for working by myself and at least a couple of sofas to chill, bigger tables for bigger groups, power outlets especially near the "work" tables. > There are at least 5 individual tables near power outlets located such that the non-computer people either don't hog them or leave soon enough when they do. There are not too many other power outlets here though - so on the odd day/time you may be out of luck - especially if you bring a laptop/phone without enough juice. 2. Not bad service. > This place has great service. They are always prompt and friendly without being over the top which often is a substitute for something else wrong at a place - at one of the other big Starbucks locations in the area, it's presumably to compensate for the worst wifi/internet speed of any Starbucks location I've ever experienced. 3. Hours. > This place is for early-birds: opens at 4:30 am on weekdays! Closes at 8:30pm though which works for me these days. I say, come here when you can, and go to Tom and Tom's on El Camino Real until 11pm.
Small store, friendly staff, and the drinks are good. But a lot of times the employees in the morning are understaffed and end up not being able to open the store on time, even if customers are outside, because they need at least two employees to man the stations.
