I met a friend here on a Saturday night 2 hours before closing. It was very quiet and I remember thinking what a nice place to get some work done. They have some really comfortable lounge chairs, another area for a large group, and outside seating. Too bad I probably will never be back because it is over an hour from me, but if I'm ever looking for somewhere to have a meeting in Roswell, this spot will be on my list. PS: their chai latte is sooooo good
I made my order at 9:48. Drive thru was clear at that time. Received my offer coffees and asked to pull around to wait for my food. Several cars after me were pulled around and received their food orders before me. I got out of my car and went inside for my food. When I get inside they tell me they do not have my food items available anymore so I choose new items. Then I wait longer and receive half of my order and then go back to the counter to ask for the rest of it. By the time I went through this my ice had melted in my coffee, the food I received was cold, and I was full of frustration. Took almost 30 minutes! Ridiculous!
Editing my previous review post-COVID: just visited today, and this store is the only Starbucks open for miles after the tropical storm. Despite a line 20 cars deep, they were awesome and kind and really fast. FYI- this is a smaller location, so sometimes they don't have the inventory that larger stores do.
I clearly asked for the extra large sized iced tea. Given a large sized. When I asked what size it was, she said large. I said I asked for extra large. She said she would change it the only reason for two and not one star, but I said nevermind. As I was leaving she said "seriously" loud enough for me to hear her. This is very pretty, but this has happened to me at this location before. Instead of just not saying anything and the snark comment compelled me to leave a review. I'm addicted to Starbucks and will continue to get Starbucks. Now I'll just go to the one in Target that's in the same complex or the the one across 285.
I had a bad experience here a couple weeks ago. I went through the drive thru & ordered which I wish there was something they could do about the drive thru, but I definitely understand the space, they're doing all they can! but I received a hot drink instead of the iced, when I brought that to their attention, they said they were sorry and that they would fix it, and for me to go ahead and park and they would bring it out to me. After waiting about 10 minutes, I ended up going inside to ask, where they handed me my drink watery by now, but still drinkable obviously!.
I went in for a lunch date. The electricity went off soon after we got our coffee. After loudly complaining to a female friend sitting next to us about costumers not leaving, an employee comes over and tells us that the electricity is out and we have to leave. I say okay and turn back to my date and the employee keeps standing there as if we should stand up and leave that moment. He then says it is state law, I again say okay and he stays and says he was just doing what heard was told. I said okay again and we ignored him and he eventually left our table and we left. I do not believe it is against the law, as I worked for costumer service for 18 years and never made people leave during a power outage. However, I do not see why one would lie about something that could easily be found out. The windows were letting in plenty of light and a few tables stayed and kept enjoying their conversation. It was raining and due to the crappy parking situation there, I had a bit of a walk back to my car in the rain. It was a little after 12:00, so the employees would have not been getting to go home anyway. It was just extremely rude to go around to all the tables and make them leave in the rain, when they were happy and already had all they needed and were no bother to the employees.
Certain drinks are overpriced. I got several shots of espresso so I don't get hit up for the 5.00 plus calorie sugar saturated unhealthy costs. Service at drivethru ones tends to be much quicker. Went into a non drive thru one 3 weeks ago at 2 in the afternoon, no one in front of me. One drink took them 9 minutes to make. Seriously 9 minutes. It was not a special request either. You can't do that in a drive thru. Person behind the counter tries to make up excuses. Their literally aren't any. When no drink orders are in front of you.
The first time I came by the person working was very rude to me This was almost a year ago. I come to Starbucks everyday, but that experience made me not want to come to this one again. I spoke with someone at Starbucks and they made it right. I come by here now many mornings on my way to school and do the mobile order. They always have it ready. The staff seems friendly. The parking lot is small though, so sometimes it is hard to get in there.
I work in the area and every other time my order comes out wrong. I had returned to the office several times to have just milk in my cup or have a completely different coffee from what i ordered. Today i had two coffees ordered and i was given one wrong coffee and time stamp on both coffees was totally different. It's very frustrating to fave the same issue over and over again especially when you are on a 15 minute break.
This was an unusual experience. I have never had to wait so long for a Grande Americano; and when it finally came, it had very little flavor. I tried a few sips, but there was not much taste. I returned it. The Shift Supervisor offered to replace it with another; but while I appreciated the offer, I declined. It was a poor day at Starbucks.
