I was made aware of this shop by my children who frequent it for tie dye outfits, incense, crystals and charms. Let me say it is so much more. There are books, tarot cards, candles even a Vouyuer who was spot on in her checking. The shopkeeper is very informative and honest enough to go the extra mile in assisting you if he doesn’t have what you’re looking for. He is a pleasure to talk to. Store is especially wonderful for gifts.

I only recently found this place doing a search for koshi chimes. I’d never heard of this shop prior and was shocked because I thought I knew about all the crystal-candle-metaphysical stores around me, lol, and it’s been on my list of places to get to. I didn’t realize I was in the area of this shop the other day when I happened to be wandering around Greenpoint by chance. I walked by after visiting Anima Mundi Herbals and before lunch at the Jungle Cafe, saw the windows and thought “I have to go in there!” Then I saw the name and had to laugh at the serendipity! What a fantastic store and perfect happenstance to a beautiful day! All the reviews about Thom and what a sincerely awesome person he is are 100% true! He makes all the tie-dye clothes and accessories himself, and will custom dye for you too! The store is clean and organized, with an amazing selection of crystals, candles, incense, singing bowls, books, card decks, and many other unique and beautiful items! He also carries crystal singing bowls as well as alchemy bowls - what?! He played some of those for me and I felt like I was in a private sound bath. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely stunning! I felt as if I was in a frequency tunnel and every cell was vibrating. I didn’t find my koshi chimes he said he’s looking into getting those but I did get a few other items and gifts. If all this is your thing, I think you’ll find all you need here, without having to go anywhere else! Love it! I was too blissed out to remember to take photos! Lol!

My FAVORITE gift shop! Something for everybody! If you need a gift for someone who has everything, or you just don't know what to get for someone, THIS IS THE PLACE! I stop there everytime I'm in Greenpoint. I give a 'MOOD RING' to just a about all my friends and relatives. I buy them by the dozen. My childhood sweetheart invited me to her Brother's 70th birthday party. I bought a BEAUTIFUL TIE DYE SHIRT at a very reasonable price. I bought tie dye hoodies for all my Nephews and Niece's. Even the 2 year old! I felt so good to hear my 8 year old Nephew say, "This is MY FAVORITE!" When I need a gift for someone, including myself, like I said THIS IS THE PLACE.

I stumbled upon Starhawk by pure coincidence. I love this kind of store. This store adds to the reasons why I make my way into Greenpoint. They have everything from gemstone necklaces, singing bowls, bracelets, yoga basics, spiritual books, incense, candles, tie-dye clothes and much more. The two brothers who own it are sweethearts. They make custom requests which make unique gifts. The quality of their products is superb and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this store for people looking for beautiful items to wear or to give to friends and love ones. They make adorable baby clothes too. Check them out!

Fantastic art studio for personal tie-dyed shirts and garments. Clothing for the newborn to adults! Lots of fun to browse. The artist actually works on-site. Good collection of books, incense etc...

This place is awesome!! The owner is extremely helpful and kind, and the store has great, positive energy. If you are looking for crystals, singing bowls, cool clothes, jewelry, candles, incense, new age books you definitely need to visit this place. Close to the G train, too!

What an amazing experience! We visited Brooklyn and saw a beautiful tie dyed shirt in the window and decided to peek inside. The owner, Tom was so friendly and welcoming. He makes all the tie dyed clothing and he was very knowledgeable with the crystals. Lots of variety in this store with reasonable prices! The best part was he took down some of the crystal singing bowls and allowed us to give it a try. My husband really loved the ocean drum. We plan on coming back for one of the sound baths he hosts monthly. I would say that even though we were in the city for a music festival that weekend, our time at Starhawk Design Studio is one of the highlights of the weekend.
