Third trip and it was great. Debbie made my reservation, she was nice and helpful. Very patient with my questions. Cleo was my driver, he was very safe and we had great conversation all the way to airport. Met the owner Eileen while waiting at office. Super nice and they have been in transportation business since the early 1900s, long history. Awesome company, way better than Uber.

Was scheduled to take a shuttle last July and August from the airport in Newark and back to JFK. I cancelled both of these rides at least a week prior to pick up. I received confirmation of cancellation. State shuttle had already charged my card for both shuttle rides to the tune of over $400. I have yet to receive a refund from this company. Every time I call they admit that I am due a refund but claim that they can't process it right now. Do not use this company! They will steal your money. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Very happy I selected State Shuttle to drive my fiancé and her girlfriends out last Saturday night.. The driver showed up 20 minutes early and was patient while the girls got ready and Becky in the office couldn't have more helpful in setting everything up. I also liked the email confirmations and day before phone call to confirm the pick up times. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

I've taken dozens of rides from State Shuttle over the years and everything has been flawless.

The fact that Amanda Ozdemir, a high ranking employee or owner of this company, posted a 5 star review of her "experience" should give you ample warning about the integrity of this organization. The photos show the damage one of their "professional" drivers inflicted on my lawn. I don't believe it was malicious, just incredible incompetence.
Over the past 2 months, I have left no fewer than 5 messages for the owners and have spoken to Janet the Office Manager 4 times. I have emailed the owner, Janet and "passenger" Amanda 3 times asking for an explanation and reasonable compensation for the damage. "Only the owner" can make those decisions repeats Janet (the lackey?), but the owner has not had even the common decency to return my calls or address my request for reimbursement, let alone apologize. Blowing off valid and documented complaints is just not acceptable for any ethical business. This is an example of very shabby treatment for what was a very loyal client. Until now, I used the service very frequently for transportation to/from Newark airport for business and pleasure. Yes, other companies were cheaper and some of this company's drive rs would try to solicit my business privately for a much lower cost "off the books". I continued to book through the official means because I had used them for over 15 years. But obviously my loyalty to them was insignificant. Expand your Google search past this site or use Uber... it will be cheaper and better...that's what I'm doing.
