Easy check in, comfy apartment, decent amenities. More cookware would have been helpful given the place slept 6 people, but no complaints otherwise. Parking on site is also a bit of a hassle but Michael with Stay Alfred helped to coordinate. Nice neighborhood for food and drinks, and electric scooters made exploring downtown easy. Would definitely return to stay here.
Love staying here! My family 2 young boys has stayed here twice and loved it both times. The location has excellent city views and would be great if you are going to a Rockies game. The lofts are airy, open, and look just like the photos. Units are well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Great common kitchen in lobby with a nice coffee/espresso machine. The staff is helpful and responsive if you run into any issues. But they are not onsite. Will stay here anytime we are in Denver.
Be prepared to pay for parking and walking back to the location. This was not fully disclosed when we booked this location. We had to park 5 blocks away and had to make sure we moved our vehicle super early in the morning. The check in was easy because the key was available via a kiosk. The lobby is very clean and welcoming. The gym is fantastic but we felt uncomfortable to use it building tenants didn’t seem like they wanted me there. Also, the couch was very uncomfortable and the sofa bed in it was broken. This made for a terrible stay because we really needed the additional bedding and it was our primary reason for staying here.
This was a perfect choice for the week I was in Denver. I had no trouble checking in, the directions were clear and concise. The location was convenient, and the amenities the building provided were wonderful. This was such a better choice than a hotel, as I stayed 6 nights. The unit was clean and I really enjoyed my stay. Craig was so nice and helpful whenever I needed something or had questions. Definitely will recommend this for longer stays in downtown Denver!
The apartment was a wonderful fit and a relaxing place. A few things that would prevent us from booking again would be the parking situation. Arrived on a night when Rockies were in town and the cost was $35 for the lot with no other parking available and another night $60 when the Eagles were playing. Had to become very creative not to pay exuberant parking costs. There were enough spots Open at all times in connected parking garage that would allow your clients convenient and safe parking. The other things were throw up in the hall way and up the wall by the elevators that stayed there for over a day because there was no staff to clean it up even when it was reported. At least one of the elevators was out of service for the majority of our stay stayed on 7th floor and key fobs wouldn’t allow access to roof. We are a family that travels a lot and for extended periods of time and these were inconveniences that we didn’t expect and could be easily remedied. Thank you.
The loft was super nice, exactly as advertised. What was not advertised is the $100+ cleaning fee. I was only going to be in town for a night. I wouldn’t have booked the place had I known about that. Especially in light of what happened. My flight ended up being delayed from a 4pm arrival until a 1am arrival in Denver. We got to the loft at 230, passed out, and left at 1030. So I paid about $30/hour for sleep. I would definitely never stay there again unless for a very long-term visit.
Not bad. Not great. Some growing pains that required a lot of queries, follow-ups, and corrections of some sysinternal issues. Great customer service, and I am certain that everything will get better. As far as the location goes, what is not loveable about a vibrantly revitalized community sprouting around Union Station? Just look out for the scooters on the sidewalks. They are awesome, but not everyone is a good rider, yet. The loft its self was unexpectedly spacious. Maybe huge. And comfortable. The bed slept well, had lots of pillows, and did its job. The sitting area was well lit, had a TV and remote control that I could operate with ease, and was a place to enjoy. A good value for a great time in a very fine community.
Great location, great views & easy access. Our room wasn’t clean upon arrival, but it didn’t take long for her to finish up. They did refund our $125 cleaning, which made up for it. There’s no on-site parking, but there is convenient public parking near by. Would def stay here again!
I originally booked this hotel because it seemed quite good relative to its price. Only after booking my non-refundable stay did I notice a $125 "cleaning fee" in the small print, which brought the total price back up in line with or higher than other nice hotels in the area. This "hotel" is really like an AirBnB, but with less competent management. They required me to send them a photograph of my driver's license before checking in, they could only give me one key for a booking that included multiple people. They made a big deal about noise on all their signage, etc., and just generally made everything about it seem shady. Once I arrived, it became clear that a great number of people in these apartments were also short-term renters. The apartment itself was in fine shape. The street we were on was incredibly noisy until early in the morning, as were the people coming back walking past our door all night. The apartment has no parking even for pay. I found street parking the first night, but the second night there was a concert at the nearby baseball stadium, so I had to walk quite far away. The air conditioner stopped working, and of course there was no one there to do anything about it. Overall, we survived, but I definitely would not stay here again. I find how they list their prices to be deceptive… I just want to know how much I'll pay so I can make a good decision.
The apartment was fine but the neighborhood was seedy. In or week stay there were three incidents causing the police to put up the "yellow crime scene" tape within a block or two of the building. One day we had no hot water in the building and there was an open sewer smell by the elevator. Stay Alfred personnel were friendly and helpful. One problem we had was checking out. We had trouble finding the slot you put your cafe key in to open the lock box. We will use StayAlfred in the future but not at this location.
