The newly renovated suites are modern and comfortable. The elevators are soon to be replaced with new ones. The location was good for us due to its nearness to Cherry Creek Art Fair and mall. We didn't use the amenities like the laundry and pool. The only downside was the meager breakfast buffet the one morning we were there. Very little food available 1.5 hours before breakfast time was over. Apparently, it was a busy weekend and understaffed. Hopefully, the management will get this addressed before the next holiday weekend.
The location was great and the rooms were clean. If that’s all you need then this is a great place for you. We arrived around 9pm to find a car in the designated loading/unloading zone. Turns out that was an employee’s car. The luggage cart wasn’t the normal bellhop style and didn’t fit our luggage that well. With a baby and a child we had a lot of luggage. Next, only one elevator was working. When we got into the working one an alarm went off and the door got stuck. We got out, the door shut, and took another 10 minutes for the staff to get working. We were told it was because we exceeded the weight limit the sign said the max was 2500lbs so that made no sense so we had to make three trips to get everything up. Then we were told we had to go and grab a crib we needed from the second floor we were on the third. It took forever to get to sleep because you can hear every footstep of the person above you. I woke up the next morning to the smell of cigarette smoke. I could only smell it near the wall shared with the next room. After a while the smell disappeared so I imagine my neighbors were smoking in their room. That night I could smell cooked pasta and finally the next morning their bathroom odors. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. They also had a managers reception which was again, nothing special. People smoke right outside the main doors as well so we had to keep walking through it whenever we went to our car. Like I said - if you only want a clean room and good location this is the place. If you want a quiet room where you can’t smell when your neighbor takes a dump or has a smoke, assuming the elevator works, this is not the place. Walkability: Located next to a lot of restaurants and Target store
Terrible hotel. The manager is a jerk and is very unprofessional and lazy. I pity the staff. No wonder they always quit. Dirty hotel, reeks like cigarettes. Dog fur everywhere. Unclean carpet, couches. Do not stay at this disgusting place. Transient Apartment not hotel. Rooms: Disgusting Safety: Unsafe
Very good place. Great location. Pretty descent customer service. Great housekeeping staff. Comfortable suites. Average breakfast. Awesome facilities. The two negative things about our stay is one elevator working that is slow beyond all belief. Have waited for it upwards of 5 minutes. For older folks such as me and my wife, this is not good because stairs are not much of an option. The second is that no one makes coffee downstairs after the breakfast is over unlike other hotel chains. Very inconvenient.
Lauren at the front desk is amazing at what she does. Any issue I’ve had has been minor because of her diligence in making sure every guest has a great experience. This is my 4th week staying here and it is great for extended stay. It is ALWAYS clean, smelling good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Stay here if you can!Rooms: 5/5
Breakfast food was cold- eggs, sausage. Out of waffles our stay- Monday to Friday. Biscuits were rock hard. Fruit was mush. Juice was left out. Coffee and other items were not kept up on. Some chairs and tables wobbly. Tables were left uncleaned throughout the day. Difficult to communicate with staff.Rooms: 2/5
Our car was broken into- rear window broken right outside the front door. Well, if you want your automobile windows smashed, this is the place for you. Just park in the safest area, directly in front of the lobby, and it’ll happen. No cameras or anyone with a clue. What you will receive is a police visit that morning and a staff and management that could care less. What you won’t receive is a returned phone call from hotel management - OR IHG staff/management. . No one lifted a hand to help or sound sympathetic.
Well, if you want your windows smashed while during a hotel stay, this is your place. We parked in the front space, directly in front of the hotel and woke up to a shattered auto window even with nothing in there to steal. This was on July 28, 2024 - four days ago - and still have heard from the manager or IHG. Even after a promised phone call within 48 hours. And paid parking. This can happen anywhere, but even McDonalds would have someone contact us. Screwed up the proverbial long-planned retirement vacation. It seems the “manager” is writing nice responses to complaints - don’t believe them. Noteworthy details: To the owner’s response, you clearly missed the point of my review. I do not hold the hotel responsible for the smashed windshield. I do understand a break-in at your hotel is my issue. And, your staff did help in contacting the police - only because they were already on the phone with the police, reporting a stolen car erroneously from your parking lot. My point should have been more simple - no manager was available - even by phone when this was discovered, so I called IHG. They opened a case and said a “manager” would call back in 24-48 hours. I did not ask for, or desire any type of compensation - only for someone to say they were sorry it happened at your hotel. A great response from you would have been, “We’re sorry. It does not happen here often. We have police drive by frequently.” Or, just a phone call - as promised. Instead, you write a lengthy CYA, it’s your fault style response that is more disappointing than your original no-response at all.
The room was very nice. There was still trash under our kitchen sink when we arrived. We had only one chair at the breakfast bar & when we asked for another one, we were told they didn't have any. We could have used the desk chair but we didn't have one of those either. These were 2 things that should have been taken care of but all in all the place was very nice.
Steve was perfect for being new to this hotel chain. Sadly, there is a lot of issues going on in and around this hotel that must be addressed with management without getting law enforcement involved. Too many criminals enter the hotel to conduct illegal activities. If you are not a guest I suggest not to come here after 10 - to 11:59 Pm. unless you are Working. There are plenty of good people here that don't want to have their safety and well being at risk. Hopefully Management reads this and puts some better policies in force to help the front desk keep the property safe without a security guard in the heart of Denver. Rooms: Top Notch. Nearby activities: Plenty Safety: Be Careful after 10 pm. Walkability: Close trails Food & drinks: Great
