Our daughter's wedding was over month ago but I just had the opportunity to relive the experience through the magic of Stephanie's photographs! I'm not just talking about the physical representation of the ceremony, the events and the participants although the photos were comprehensive and visually stunning; what was so extraordinary was that Stephanie was able to perfectly capture the love, the spirit, the magic, really, of the event, enabling us to not just see it again but to feel it. Stephanie is an talented photographer both technically and artistically but she also possesses extraordinary empathy and intuition which enable her to capture both the external and internal reality of her subjects. Isn't that the definition of a true artist? On a practical level, Stephanie was both a consummate professional and a experienced team player whose extensive wedding experience and ability to listen to our concerns helped us solve some practical day of issues not even related to photography all with extreme sensitivity to the high emotions of the day. Stephanie was everywhere she needed to be and managed to capture every magical moment without being intrusive or bossy. She went above and beyond in every way right down to her beautiful, meaningful final presentation of the photographs to my daughter and her husband. In short, Stephanie is a highly experienced professional, an exceptionally talented artist and an extremely special human being, to whom we are extremely grateful for the extraordinary rendering she created of this important milestone for our families. Stephanie is the best of the best. When I was looking for my wedding photographer I knew there was a particular aesthetic that I wanted and Stephanie captures it perfectly. Her work illustrates a true artistry that is so rare in the commercialized industry of wedding photography. We first hired Stephanie to do photos for our civil ceremony. She was went on her own to scout out potential photography sites the weekend before which was a true testament to how meticulously and thoughtfully she approaches each project. When we received our gallery for our civil ceremony we knew that we wanted to hire her to do our larger ceremony in Hawaii. It was beyond worth bringing Stephanie and her colleague and dear friend Erica Streelman also amazing! to shoot our wedding on the big island. The day before our wedding festivities began, Stephanie took photos as part of a portrait session around the island. The photos were amazing but it also gave us time to spend with Stephanie who is truly such a sweet soul! For our wedding, Stephanie and Erica did a beautiful job of capturing both the small and intimate moments between us and with our family and friends. Stephanie’s photos not only captured the event but the sense of place through her shots of the natural scenery. We will cherish these photos for years to come. All of our friends and family agreed that our photos are stunning and that Stephanie is incredibly talented. If there’s one thing that’s worthwhile in investing in, it’s wedding photography. Where to begin! We first met Stephanie for our engagement shoot and she immediately made us feel comfortable. It was 98 degrees that day, and the photos still came out spectacularly–you couldn’t tell how warm it was! The way she captured the light near sunset resulted in absolutely stunning photos. Stephanie was a breeze to work with leading up to the wedding, and on our wedding day, I was so excited to see her again! Her second photographer, Josie, was also fantastic. Stephanie guided us to different spots with a gentle ease that made us feel relaxed and comfortable but also confident that she was in control and would find the best locations on the property. And the resulting photos were beautiful beyond words! Looking back through our wedding photos, I still get teary-eyed remembering how happy we were and seeing genuine moments of joy throughout the day. I’ve shown my wedding photos to countless friends and family members who have noted how uniquely natural and elegant the photos are. Stephanie is warm, kind, and relaxes everyone around her. She makes you feel at home and forget she’s there while capturing the most genuine moments from your wedding day many that we didn’t even realize were happening!. Any photographer can take a professional picture, but it takes a true pro to capture all the intimate, special, and funny parts of the day that you’ll remember forever. I and my wife decided to get married in nyc and luckily I’ve known Stephanie for a few years. Unfortunately Stephanie didn’t have time on our actual wedding day, so we decided to do a wedding shoot two days before the wedding which turned out to be the best decision we could make. That way we were able to focus on the shoot and it was so easy to just enjoy the day with her: We did send Stephanie a couple of mood pictures before meeting up because I really had a certain vibe and aesthetic in my mind. Stephanie totally understood what I was looking for right away and we couldn’t be any happier. Working with her was such a pleasure and we had the best time. From the minute we met her, we both felt so comfortable around her. She was kind and warm-hearted and I could tell her excitement for us getting married too. We were just walking to see where are the best spots to shoot and she was patient, professional and so sweet trying out so many things even though it was still a very hot late summer day. When we received our pictures, we had tears in our eyes. They turned out so beautiful and just as how we wanted them to be: natural, playful and the vibe of new york city.
