Interesting. Being honest reviewing and received a passive-aggressive response. Marked the price like a FYI for review readers without any intentions tho. Didn’t even say anything negative, for me this was truly something a normal pie. Was even I gave 3 now down to 2. Original review without editing is below. An interesting spot nearby the water. It was cute. The key lime pie was ok, $6, nothing special.

If the weather is good the views from outside this place are amazing. The only thing better is the pie! The most delicious key lime pie I have ever tasted and it is by far,my favorite dessert. If it's raining you are relegated to eating in your car, but so worth it. Try a frozen one on a stick. Covered in chocolate you might go into a food coma.

I've been here a few times. I'm not really a pie person but Steve's Key Lime Pies can definitely change that. The pies come in various sizes. The Key Lime filling is tart with the right amount of sweetness and the crust is delicious. Lately I've gotten the Swingle which is a frozen small version of the pie, on a stick. It has the Key Lime filling and crust and it also has Raspberry and it is covered in either Chocolate or White Chocolate. I've had both. They are . I haven't been inside the store since the 1st time I was there. It was small but the decor was cool. Since then I order at the window and sit at the picnic tables they have outside. You can also take it to Louis J. Valentino Park, which is just a step or two away. The prices are fair. I highly recommend this as a stop in Red Hook. I do not know the person in the pic but I wanted to show the outside of Steve's.

Lovely place to stop next to a scenic waterfront park. Mini key lime pies, specialty ice creams, and if they have Tamalés make sure you get some, Rajas tamale slaps.

I just can’t get enough of this place, it’s sooo damn good. I came to vacation here in New York once again after coming here once during wrestlemania 2019. I immediately came here during the cold raining storm drenched just wanting my key lime pie!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT! Everything tastes very high quality. I just got everything on the menu . I don’t care how much it cost. The chocolate is smooth, creamy and dark. It pairs really well with key lime pie. You can actually taste the graham cracker crust, I’m shocked because so many pies mask the flavor of the crust with their artificial sour tart lime filling. Not this pie!! And last but not least, the key lime filling is perfect. Not extremely Sour or tart, just right and creamy. With a hint of lime flavor. Prior to our arrival, my sister was angry and upset that I made her walk with me to Steve’s during this crazy cold windy storm. Her mood changed once she tried the pie. Saved me the stress of having to deal with it. Ugh I’m leaving today morning back to LA. I’ll miss this place very much. I wish there was a Steve’s in Los Angeles. My trips to NY are not compete without a key lime pie from Steve.

Great key lime pies in a cozy and unique location in Brooklyn. If you like running, you’ll often see some groups of runners ending their weekend long runs at Steve’s so they can grab a delicious and refreshing Swingle—a must-eat treat!Food: 5/5

My daughter requested a Key Lime Pie for her birthday so I Google searched Key Lime Pie near me and this was the 1st place recommended by Yelp. I reached out by email yesterday to ask if I needed to order ahead for my daughter's birthday and they said no. They also gave me a discount and a free Key Lime Pie Lollipop dipped in chocolate as a birthday gift for her!! Very cool and we just finished singing happy birthday and eating pie.....WOW!!!! DELICIOUS SO GOOD AND FRESH AND TASTY!!! 5
