The best optical shop I have found for very specialized lenses. They customized and truly worked out a fantastic pair of glasses and therapeutic sun glasses that help with headaches. I think Evan is really good at what he does and I cannot go to LensCrafters for my lens strength, she referred me here, Thank God!
Dr Steven Moore is incredibly thorough! He takes extra care in explaining everything to the patient and answering any questions they may have. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating as well! I couldn’t recommend this place more
It was my first visit and I can say it was great! Dr. Steven was so patient and kind, she walked me through all the process and tried to explain every tiny detail with simple language, she was the best eye doctor I’ve ever had! She wanted to do one more exam to be sure everything is fine with my eyes and they didn’t charge me for doing that extra work!! Strongly recommended!!!
I highly recommend Dr. Moore. I'm a hard fit regarding contact lenses. Dr. Moore is thorough and patient. He gets it!!
Veronica, at reception, is so helpful and quick to problem resolve. She proactively called my insurance and figured out what I needed within 20 minutes. She's friendly, listens, and wants to help patients get what they need. I've always had such a positive experience with this office from the doctors Steven, Alexa, and Spencer to the staff. They are thorough yet efficient. I've trusted this practice ever since I moved to Charlotte 5 years ago.
Update… no one expects free, however twice you guys have submitted the insurance incorrectly. Then Jamie called did not apologize that it was submitted incorrectly. Called back and said oh yea actually you only owe X amount. Last year this establishment did the same thing to me and never corrected it. Still have not received a bill statement when I requested. Improper practices twice today get me to pay extra. Will never return
This is an incredible practice conveniently located in the middle of Uptown. Everyone who we have encountered at the office, including in our worst eye care emergencies, has been simply amazing - professional and helpful - often going above and beyond to assist. We have been going to Dr. Moore and Associates for almost 20 years, and we will never go anywhere else.
I will not be visiting this office again. Although, the lady that assisted me with my eye check-up was great. My issue is with the optical area and the no refund/return policy they don't have in place. I placed an order and on the same day I called wanting to cancel the order and request a refund. I was told by the man in the optical area that he couldn't cancel the order nor provide a refund. He stated once he hits submit its done. I have never experienced a merchant force you to take something you no longer want. I also emailed this office inquiring about their return/refund policy. I have yet to get a response back. I sure hope it was well worth the commission for him to lose a patient all together.
It’s just the lack of communication for me!! The condescending tones and the run around of when my glasses were going to be done was tiresome! The attitudes and the gossip that took place here was quite uncomfortable. The doctors were awesome but the optical side can use work. The front desk associates can also be taught better customer service skills.
Update: Dr. Moore called me personally to apologize for the way I was treated over the phone by reception. I cannot begin to say how much that meant to me. I am updating my review as I am hopeful that my experience was a one time fluke and that going forward the kindness I was shown today is what customers continue to receive! I had a terrible experience with reception over the phone today. I was immediately yelled at for my phone breaking up a bit at the start of the call. To make matters worse could hear cackling laughter in the background on the receptions end and when I said I was hearing a lot of background noise I was met with “well I can hear you just fine.” I got cut off by the receptionist while trying to spell my email several times with her shouting at me. All I was calling for was to get a copy of my prescription sent to me via email. When I brought up that I had an email pending to their inbox I was met with “well our girl who checks the email is out today.” I didn’t realize only one person in an office could reply to emails... I also wasn’t bringing that up to be rude, I just thought she could search the box for my email address to make it easier. I’m finding a new eye doctor. I’m don’t want to risk treated like that for a simple request again.
