Would leave zero stars if I was allowed to. Metropolitan Towers will scam you out of your deposit and have no regrets lying to your face. The only thing marked on my move out inspection was drip pans for the stove. When I finally get mail thinking it's my deposit, I find out I owe more money than what the deposit was for carpet that they knew was ruined from the tenants prior to me and claims that I smoked in the bathroom. I never smoked in the unit and even reported a couple times that someone was smoking in the building and I could smell it through the bathroom vent. UPDATED: In response to your reply SSM, your staff was fully aware that the carpet stains were from the tenants prior to me moving in. Due to circumstances of Covid-19 and tenants not being able to be evicted, I had to change units at the last minute so the unit I did move into was not properly cleaned including carpets. I paid the fee for my mom bringing her dog when I was moving out, but I dare you to try to say a mini chihuahua could leave the stains those carpets had. As for the smoke stains, I called to report other people smoking in the building more than once. I have a son that I was watching out for his safety, but I guess your staff won't take action if that means you can then charge all tenants for stains when they move out.
The Redwell Aparrments are a dump. There has been 4 different managers within the past year. The building was new just two years ago, but by the looks of the inside common areas, it’s very run down. Dirty carpets. Homeless people sneak in the building, some just sit in the doorways. Security is basically non existent. I watched them go in and out of the building within 3 minutes. Couldn’t possibly have checked if the building was secure within that time.
Honestly I would not give them a star.. I use to Rent it in cedar and Gate apartments! It was decent area.. everything close by.. Management's paranoid, they treat residents like we are prison's. I had a company they think they living with you.. sad you can't smoke on porch. I never see people on porch.. so shame I meet so many people who lived there for while. They say, when Steven Scott took over place went down they said, so many people they lose because they not lay back.. maintenance people cruising 24/7 . seven days a week.. no Peace at all honesty I never run into any landlord's like this.. Steven & Scott is sad and slam lord's.. they hungry for money and who treat people like we re in halfway house..once we move to new management different landlord it's so peaceful.. they lay back! Steven and Scott property really bad.. I will never ever rent from them again! I don't need a babysitter.. especially they make money out of us.. but treat you like a prisoners. When you don't see reviews, or people didn't write reviews.. for long time trust me it's bad Management's Stevens and Scott is bad Management's.. don't waste ya money.. there's are apartments out here and good landlord's who's lay back and treat you like a adult's.. not a animals.. they losing so many people.. till city get involved in.. they can't keep the residents.. they gonna lose people like that they don't know how to run business.. it's shame and sad.. don't waste ya time.with this sad poor crazy management.. all they wanna is money and treat you like a jail bird.. they slam lord's who wanna ya money.. I tell people never rent from this landlord Steven and Scott property.. there's a Management property.. and good landlord's.. I hope all them businesses shutdown
If you're reading this it may be too late for you. This company is evil. They are professional tyrants that think they can abuse tenants once they've locked them into a lease. Run as fast as you can because they will violate your rights and you'll have to go to court to fight these crooks!
This company used to manage the property I live at. I was so happy when they got tossed. Rude, immoral, unethical in every way. The maintenance guy was awesome but the front office staff were total psycho's. Edit....Discuss with you? I left phone messages and emails and your people never returned one of them. Why would I contact you now? PS. the front office woman who I caught standing outside my door filming my front door without my consent is lucky I wasn't on the phone with the police. I've never had a single complaint from any other neighbor in the two years I've been here so I'm not really sure what her motive was for her illegal actions. Have a great day./ sarc.
Wish I could rate them zero. What a terribly immoral company. Their entire business model is a rotating door of tenants designed simply to give their overlords as much return as possible. Unfettered capitalism at its finest.
Worst management company. Trisha from east town apartments was consistently disrespectful to me and other tenants. When an apartment flooded and the fire report was out showing the cause she and Steven Scott management chose to ignore it and tried to threaten the tenants with damages. I moved out not wanting to live in that environment. Didn't even care to get my security deposit. Later I found out that they are still harassing me by claiming that i owe them a large amount of money but will not respond to any of my calls or voicemails. Terrible company I will always steer clear and tell others to avoid them
Not a good value. I lived in the Original at West Lake Quarter for a year, during construction project. Some things were fine maintenance orders usually filled in a week or two, no holes in the ceiling etc., but overall, building management do not show much care for tenants' quality of life. Several short-term 3+ month tenants on my floor played loud music at all hours of the day and night, slammed doors so loudly the reverberations could be felt throughout the entire floor, and once woke up several tenants on the floor due to banging on an apartment door and screaming at 3am. Multiple tenants smoke on their balconies tobacco and other substances despite the lease stating smoking is not allowed. Management response is to say they are frustrated that tenants are being disrespectful/breaking rules, but seems like no meaningful action is taken just emails asking tenants to be more respectful. With respect to the ongoing construction project: seems to be little regard from management about construction noise, parking, or work from home considerations. Construction noise is very loud and goes from early in the day to rather late ~7am to ~5:30pm on weekdays. It's hard to have a Zoom meeting with piling or tamping going on in the background. Temporary parking lot has enough spots for all the tenants in the building, but management gives out temporary parking tags, which overfill the lots so tenants have nowhere to park. Parking spots are so tight that multiple cars have gotten scratched and dented. There is also no guest parking nearby, unless you want to pay $10/day for a guest tag. Water & electricity gets shut off for hours at a time due to construction needs, with <24 hours notice from management. If you work from home, look elsewhere. Management response to construction difficulties was first to say that the rental rates had been decreased in anticipation of construction although the rates seem similar to comparable nearby apartments, and then to say that management was looking into options to make tenants' work from home experience better; however, nothing ever came of that to my knowledge. I have heard many of these frustrations repeated by multiple other tenants, including long-term tenants. I would not recommend Steven Scott management.
Ive lived here for 3 years. And 90% of it has been great! Really no complaints. Neighborhood sucks.
YOU ARE RISKING YOUR LIFE!!!! If I could put 0 starts I would! This place is filled with mold and other suspicious liquids and bad air. The heating does not work properly and the maintenance makes excuses for how to fix the issues. The Managment has informed me that they will not fix air or heating gas long as the parts inside the devicse is still working no matter how badly they work. They also will not help with any mold or other issues. Here are pictures below of my 1 year at this location. DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE!!!
