Great entry point to the second leg of the LI. Greenbelt Trail. Beautiful! With lots of space & clean. Park in the morning, avoid while the sports-parents are here.
Great surfing and fishing. Zipline is fun too. 3 mile tube ride drops you gently into the sound.

A beautiful place for hiking, walking, biking, running. This is a great place for winter as well as summer.
The big field that's a short walk from the entrance is a nice place to have a picnic/relax. It can get a bit hot during the summer, however, especially with little to no shade. There's a decent sized parking lot in the front.
Trail was in great shape, had a good ride. Decent amount of riders there.
Sandy but after a rain the trail is awesome
