Stonebridge at Newport is an amazing venue to get married at! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and Ginny and the staff does a great job of meeting your needs. They were so great with making my vision come to life and Ginny made the wedding day so stress free! If you are looking for a wedding venue who can produce your fairytale wedding, this is definitely the place to go! The food is delicious and the bar staff is wonderful. They also provide you with great recommendations for vendors that you may need
Challenging. Well kept. Helpful and very friendly staff. Bunch of homes surrounding most holes...meh, typical. Had fun.
Played there 10/2/22. Course is decent at best. Several tee boxes were nothing but sand. Greens are still growing in so there are a lot of inconsistencies. Some fairways and tee boxes were very dry and firm. Some spots of the course were soggy so I don’t know if it’s a sprinkler problem or the watering schedule. It’s a good twilight spot to get some swings in but definitely not a Saturday afternoon course.
Terrible for events. I blame myself honestly. After several trips to the club no one there and dozens of unreturned calls/voicemails and unanswered emails all to the event planner, Ginny, I should have known to go somewhere else. After all the unreturned calls, I decided to call their property manager Ron about booking a room. He called Ginny who instantly answered and agreed to meet us later in the week. We met with her and gave her our trust that everything would go smoothly. We chose a room/colors, picked a date, and signed a contract which included set up and clean up. All was good.....or so we thought. Come the day of the event we arrive an hour early to make sure everything is setup. The place is a ghost town and our room is locked. We can see through the window it's empty except for some boxes and trash everywhere. Nothing had been done. I asked my son to start calling the planner Ginny. After several calls her phone, it started going straight to voicemail. I gave up on Ginny. I searched around and found a very nice young man named Ben and a wonderful young lady named Gabby who tried reaching Ginny themselves with no luck. Ben said that we could use the large room that was decorated for a party the night before. The linens were dirty, and the room was not setup for our style of event but..... It's all I had. Guests were starting to arrive and saw everything disarray. Along with Ben and Gabby who deserve Ginnys paycheck, they started to help us setup. What a joke. Dirty room, dirty linens, and guest moving tables and chairs around in nice clothes. Totally embarrassing. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. You will end up being ashamed that you did.
We had our Chayil womens conference here for the 4th year. As always it was very clean and professional. Love the stonebridge for pictures.
If you are looking for a beautiful, all inclusive venue for a wedding and reception, this is your place. I got the all inclusive package, and this was my youngest daughter getting married. When they offered the all inclusive, I could not pass that up. They really took care of so much it was money well spent. My daughter had a wonderful unforgettable day. You can not go wrong using this for your special day.
For the price of this course it is a compelling Saturday morning. Very relaxed pace and many people walking their clubs. The greens and fairways need some attention and there are some apartments which are basically in the course but overall solid course.
I went there for a round of golf the course was in decent shape the greens had weeds and it was difficult to putt .I had to move the ball to get a decent put a few times. I didn't get anything from the pro nor spend much time inside
Crosby/Huffman 30th Annual Golf Tournament. Tees and Tales!
Those are by far the slowest greens ive ever played. Hard to believe this was once a tour stop for the LPGA
