I haven’t bowled duckpins in 40 years! We had a blast! Staff very friendly. Bowling alley definitely dated but just like I remember!
Wonderful classic Baltimore bowling alley. We love duck pins! Great place for a birthday party for kids.
Great night out with family or friends: classic experience, byob, but they serve snacks and soft drinks. Rails can be put up if you are new to the game or with kids. Keep the tradition alive and come out and support a baltimore classic!
It's like taking the best nostalgic step back in time. It's a great time with friends and family if you're looking to enjoy each other's company for a few hours. The staff, especially Claire, are so kind and fun. They help make the experience as good as it can be. We love the all you can bowl nights, and we try and go every few months together. We'll continue going to Stoneleigh Lanes as long as we can.
One of the last duck pin bowling only alleys in the area maybe the last?. Fantastic for kids, parties, and gathering with friends. The staff friendly, and flexible. We had pizza and french fries—perfect for kids, but maybe not the best for adults. I love it!
We had my son’s 5th birthday party here and did the Stonleigh package. They had a table all set up for us and the boys behind the counter helped us with anything we needed. The kids all had a blast! They were able to bowl and use the game machines that they have there. The manager, Deborah, was the one I worked with to plan everything. It was an awesome place to celebrate a birthday and I would recommend it to all of my friends!
The only nice thing was being able to BYOB. The staff made it seem like they didn’t even want to be there. The attitude made it seem like we were a problem for showing up. The upkeep is terrible. The bathrooms terrible, no soap even though they were told they were out. Lane kept breaking down , pins kept falling over, constant resetting. Just overall bad experience and definitely will never go back. With the few duckpin lanes left, you’d think you would want to do better to keep people coming back.
My son had his 7th birthday party at Stoneleigh Lanes. The staff was attentive and prepared for a group of first graders. And the kids had a blast!
The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The owner needs to invest some serious money into the bathrooms womens room was out of order and mens sink was broken, cleaning carpets and balls, fixing the lane equipmentnothing worked properly, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and the upgrading the food! It could be a nostalgic gold mine and trendy destination instead of a dump!
Entered thinking it's a regular bowling alley and began with confusion about why everything is so old! Did duckpin bowling for the first time and the whole ambience is maintained so well with the vintage feel! We were told it is the oldest duckpin bowling alley and the first lane was laid in 1936! We did get a pizza and no complaints there! We did go slightly over time finishing the game but the nicest lady did not give us a hard time about it like your usual bowling places. Overall the first great experience but definitely not my last!
