A wonderful bookstore for all your children’s reading experiences. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to get the Robot In The Wild book for my 4th-grader godson, and I know he will love this story very much. The store also holds children’s classes and a chess club for ages 3 and up. Sad to see, this store has closed. Posting this after I posted my review.

This is a beautiful children’s book store, and they always help me pick the perfect book to give as a gift for any age from baby shower to chapter books and YA. They know what every age kid or type of kid will like. The staff is deeply knowledgeable and passionate about children’s literature, so it is always a pleasure to shop there. Both of my daughters have enjoyed the story times that they have almost every day of the week, and my older daughter loved the “chess at 3” class, which had a great instructor and made learning chess a fun, story-based adventure for her.

Amazing selection of children books. All the team is very friendly. They also have"classes" for babies starting at 6 months old and toddlers at very affordable prices. Our daughter loves going there. Also very close to the Bergen 2,3 stop. Could not recommend it more. If there were 6 stars rating available, I'd use it.

They actually have some good graphic novels. The set up is relaxing and the staff absolutely friendly. I bought three books and did not feel a shred of guilt or thought of trying to get it on my e-reader. This store reminds or reinforces why a physical book is still wonderful.

Beautifully curated selection of children's books.Shopping here was a great experience due to the most helpful and knowledgeable sales associate. She guided us to books with similar illustration styles to a book we were admiring. I believe she knows every book in the shop! Looking forward to returning for an upcoming author visit!

An amazing place! We love Stories Bookshop. The author reading on Sundays are so special, everyone is so nice, and the selection is top notch. Happy to support this great gem in our neighborhood.

This is the best children's bookstore and storytelling lab that I've ever visited. One of the best bookstores period. Wonderful books, very well curated, gorgeous space, and fantastic, warm, very knowledgable staff. Great place!

Wonderful local book shop specializing in kids books. Owners are a local couple who wanted to create a good local store for parents. They run tons of classes during the week and special events for big releases. Check their website for details.

Maggie picks amazing titles for my grandchildren and mails them right out to them. I am an English teacher and I admire her wide ranging knowledge of children’s literature and her ability to match the story to the child.

Great little store! Came for kids story time and they do a great job. Nice selection of kids books & adult books too.
