We were lucky to get an outdoor table because the weather was spectacular for October. You had to order everything through their app, for which they provided the QR code. The app was pretty seamless but we were wondering how to order the specials as they’re not on the app. We ordered calamari, turkey burger, and fish and chips. The size was very generous for the price but the quality could be a bit better, especially on the rather soggy fries. Meat quality was good. The cod batter was thin and crispy so they did a good job there. Inside was very loud Friday evening. No servers for outdoor tables other than those bringing your food from the kitchen to the table. So if you wanted other things cutlery, water, etc., make sure you asked everything all at once. Payment had to go through the app too. But it was seamless. Would recommend but not sure if we’d come back. There are better places in the city offering similar things.
Experienced bottomless brunch at Stout. The atmosphere and decor is extremely well done, from the bar areas’ brick floors that transition to a wood plank dining area, tin ceilings, Edison bulbs, damask wallpaper, leather chesterfield booths and apothecary styled walls literally take you across the pond to the finest of Irish pubs. The Breakfast Pizza was delicious and inventive. For a mix of sweet and savory I had the Chicken and Waffles made with bacon and cheese embedded in the waffles which was hearty and flavorful. The Bottomless Boozy brunch of Mimosa and Rum Punch were more than we expected with actual taps brought to our tables for self serve refills! Talk about getting your moneys worth and knocking your socks off. Service was gracious, attentive and expeditious especially for a group of 12. A solid choice!
Met some coworkers here after work and this was quite the busy place. Thankfully I reserved a table prior to coming or it would have been impossible to order a beer. They had a relatively large can and bottle menu but a somewhat limited draft menu. We ordered the Country Fried Chicken Fingers and Pretzel for appetizers. Both were fresh and tasy. Finally I ordered a Stout Burger for dinner and it was cooked a little over what was expected but still a decent burger. Overall the experience was good, this place was lively, loud and it reminded me of times before the pandemic how people use to gather after work.
Lively place with a nice feel to it. Food was great, drinks were okay. Service was good, we were notified when we received a new server shift ended. I went after work and was surprised there wasn’t a happy hour special but overall good experience and will return.
So I went with a party of four here. My friends have a thing for Irish bars and alehouse types in the area. The fish and chips were fine: fish itself was flaky enough, batter was more on the crisper side. Guinness was served quickly - a real plus there. Our waitress was fine. Prices were in line to what you'd expect to pay by Grand Central not cheap, but not unnecessarily expensive either. I do like the atmosphere as the layout and general vibe inside was good. Overall, it's in the rotation. It's not my first choice and yet I'm not unopposed to go back.
Highly recommended if you're in the area and wanting to watch games. Excellent location, clean, spacious bar with lots of seating all around with plenty of screens, broad menu and specials. Service is friendly and attentive. Lots of beers to choose from. Make a reservation during busy times. A Packers bar... Go Pack Go! Enjoy!
The waiter was nice but we only saw him when it was time to take the order and pay. It wasn’t crowded so it was shocking how he kept speed walking past us. #fakebusy Nonetheless placed our order, ate, left a tip and left. The pizza was surprisingly good. I’m not sure if it was because I was hungry or it was genuinely good. Sadly I will say the next 2 day my stomach was on FIRE!!! I thought it was food poisoning. The urgent care told me it wasn’t since I wasn’t throwing up but suspect something wasn’t sanitary. Definitely won’t return and don’t recommend you go either. One drink is $18 which is in a tall yet thin glass full of ice. When a anemic member of my party removed the ice the drink wasn’t even 2 ounces. All juice! What a joke.
The place was okay. Clean, attentive staff, welcoming, a good number of TVs to watch the ongoing games, good bar and drinks. However, the food was average. Nothing special. Went there for brunch and I was not impressed at all. Could have been better.
Nice restaurant near by the Grand Central. Good for watching sports. Waitress was extremely friendly. The pizza so yummy and crispy. The egg on pizza is my favorite. The stout burger also yummy.
good food and drinks. unfortunately no happy hour and the drinks are a bit pricy. but the waitress was very nice and attentive to our group. it was pretty crowded though so prepare your voice to be yelling at the other people in your group so they can hear you.
