7.29.24 stopped in for lunch due to all the awesome reviews. Can’t say I agree. We ordered regular size Philly’s rather than the double meat. Philly’s are normally packed with meat mushrooms and onions and to order a double would have seemed too much. Our Phillys arrived and it was 1/4 meat 3/4 bread. The meat had good flavor but was seriously lacking quantity you expect for a Philly. Maybe ditch the Regular size Philly’s and just sell the double meat ones.
The staff is ridiculously hospitable and professional at the same time they are so very kind here. This is the best place in all of Alaska to get the best philly cheesesteak sandwich! I will keep coming back over and over again because the food is amazing the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is just a great place to go have some lunch with some girlfriends! Parking: You can pull right up and park for free.
Sad excuse for a cheesesteak. 90% bread. Giving it 3 stars because it was tasty, if you only eat the top half. Good roll, meat was good, but "regular" meat was more like quarter meat at best. IF you go, get double meat. Maybe that will be almost enough.Food: 1/5
Good wings. Wish they used better quality wings tho. They were small and most bones were broken. All chicken is free of steroids and growth hormones... Boss philly pretty goodFood: 3/5
I had my first Philly the other day at Straight out of Philly and I am already craving my next one!! The menu is pretty big, so I will be making many more visits!…..Yummy!!! The owner is very kind and the staff were great as well. Looking forward to my next visit already! I can’t believe I’ve never been, but very excited for this new found favorite!!

I’m a Texan visiting Alaska for the first time and the owner met me with southern hospitality! The original Philly cheesesteak and the Cajun lemon pepper wings were AMAZING! The cheesesteak portion was incredibly generous. Definitely large enough to share. I highly recommend trying it out!Food: 5/5
Exactly what you expect small dining area not great parking. But trust me the food makes up for it all. The Boss Philly is to die for full of flavor. And the wings are just as delicious. A must try if your in Anchorage I can't wait to go back.Food: 5/5

I had the pepper Philly cheese steak, and it was really good! The steak tasted great, and the flavor of the peppers just topped it off. I would definitely recommend checking it out. The dining room is small, but the food is worth it.Food: 5/5
