Dr. Ioane was very friendly and sociable while being thorough in asking about my symptoms. Was able to get lab work right away and scheduling a follow up appointment was a breeze. They are pretty booked up but the receptionist was still able to schedule me an appointment two weeks out. The lab technicians and nurse were also great. This was one of the most pristine medical facilities I’ve seen. Overall a very enjoyable visit.
COVID Testing Experience: Located right down the road between Wholefoods and L&L BBQ. As with all urgent care there will be a long wait. If you are going for COVID testing, note that they will have you wait outside. There is a bench on the sidewalk; however, you will be outside in the elements. It is understandable to separate from others....but...if you are waiting in the hot grilling sun be prepared to be uncomfortable. If you are have symptoms be prepared to be even more uncomfortable. The wait was about 2 hours before se got in. After getting the "rapid" test, the dr will speak with you but there are so much unanswered questions. Kind of got the basics, was told will check what's next be right back. Nurse came back with our discharge papers and didn't really answer the questions. Overall staff is nice. Oh well...just glad to have it over with.
This is by far the worst medical treatment I have received in my life. If Susie Chun is your doctor, you’re better off leaving and getting help elsewhere. She was incredibly rude, inconsiderate, and overall unprofessional. I waited for 45 minutes with my husband to be seen which of course is not within the doctors control and once she came to see us, she spent less than 5 minutes asking me to stand up, listened to me take 2 breathes, proceeded to tell me I was completely fine despite this being my second time this week at this Urgent Care for breathing issues, and then, word for word, said “Ok. You can leave now.” And opened the door and hurried us out. There was no after visit summary, no one went over my medications she had changed and I had to call back afterwards to try and figure out what had happened. The nurse ensured me she would call me back after speaking to the doctor and 9 hours later I received a call with completely new information that was never stated during my visit. Despite her unprofessionalism, she managed to write in my notes on MyChart that my “boyfriend” was with me. I am extremely disappointed and will never be seeing this doctor again. If you can avoid it, I highly recommend finding treatment at a different facility. Save yourself the time and frustration, Susie Chun is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.
The front desk workers are absolutely unfriendly and horrendous with scheduling. Left us burning out in the hot sun, while there were available seats inside the lobby. We got mild heatstroke waiting for hours, staring at the receptionists comfortably relaxing with their phones and chatting away. Some handicapped person walked in and they were pretty rude to her even when no one came to let her in. What a sad lack of hospitality.
A year ago, i had very bad experience with x Ray technician at this clinic.. He was standing by the entrance to do covid related questions then It was unpleasant to talk to him. Then he is the one who took chest x ray omg.. He is one of the rudest people I have met. But the rest of staff members are super nice and pleasant.
I waited a fair while during a peak time for urgent care, but the staff were as accommodating as they could be while it's so busy. if you have an upcoming visit, stop in front of the main door, and someone should come out to screen you, then let you into the waiting room.
Misdiagnosed. Could have stop the illness earlier if I had been properly diagnosed. I suffered more than necessary Now illness has spread and taking longer to recover.. See another doctor or specialist right away if you doubt their prognosis. They are urgent care doctors so it seems you don't get the same level of attention if they were your regular primary doctors. But what do you but do to seek their consultation when your regular doc is unavailable. Ended up doing an e-visit with another doctor and this doc gave better diagnosis and the meds that the specialist I went to see wanted me to take in addition to his prescriptions. When you need them they are not there and you end up chasing doctors. The whole health system is a mess
Went there this morning website said open at 8 a.m. was turned away because I was a walk-in even though I was having a hard time breathing. Person told me they take walk-ins at 9:45 a.m. and that I could go Queens Urgent Care. Not very friendly or helpful
I haven't taken the time to write a review in a while, but I thought I should share my experience here. The location was very convenient and the clinic is clean and modern. I came at 9:58am on a Saturday and the front desk was ready to see me. Justin in the front is great, handed me a simple questionnaire and had me wear a mask when he realized I had flu-like symptoms which I appreciate. He also made sure to let me know which I already did that they'll need to contact the office who handles my specific insurance from Guam, which I really appreciated. Most of my stars are for Justin. The nurse who took me back was a local girl, really sweet. I didn't get her name but she's very nice, pregnant and works on Saturdays. The equipment in the office seems very high-tech and modern. I felt very comfortable while my vitals were taken and I was waiting to see the Doctor. The only reason I dropped the review from 5 stars to 4 is because of my experience with Dr. Ohri. She was pleasant, but a bit short with me in that she didn't let me explain all my symptoms before interrupting me a few times and saying she thinks it's the flu. Maybe she's just that good, or maybe she's different if you have a scheduled appointment instead of walking in, but I would've appreciated a doctor who'd listen to me before cutting me off - even if she knew what my issue was. They did a flu swab and Dr. Ohri made sure to let me know it'd take a while which I appreciated. It came back and she was right, it was the flu. I'd never doubt her diagnostic skills, but like I said it would've been nice if she had listened to me all the way through. By the end, she did ask me if I had any questions which is maybe where I should've shared my other symptoms, so maybe that's my fault. I was just so irked at how ready she seemed to get me out of there that I couldn't wait to leave either. Like I said - maybe it's different if you have a scheduled appointment, but in a clinic that regularly sees urgent care patients, I expected more.
Thoroughly enjoy my experience here. Very nice and clean facilities with ample parking. I have been seeing Dr. Ioane and she is very delightful. Her bedside manner is pleasant and doesn't make going to the doctor a drag. Recommend A+
