Frank coordinated around 150m^2 of engineered European Oak for our home and from start to finish and the results were incredible. Big thanks to Scotty and Heath for their outstanding craftsmanship in both levelling the floor before fitting the Portsea style boards and bathrooms trimming finishes down to the mm. I first walked into Billy and Frank's shop in October 2018. I was after a specific type of look and made sure I told them all about it. Billy and Frank were very patient with me, showing me all their options at the different price points, taking the time to explain to me the differences. I believe that I maybe somewhat a "picky" customer, but this was no problem at all for the gents at Suburban Flooring Co, because the more I spoke, the more they listened. Over a period of 6 months, Billy and Frank were able to recommended a unique floorboard from Big River - ArmourFloor Spotted Gum cured with a unique LED Hard Wax Oil I quickly realised that ArmouFloor is the most stable engineered floor in the market, Big River have great reputation and are quite picky with who they deal with. To cut a long story short, I would have visited at least 20 flooring stores to get what I was after. Most of the people I dealt with were just pushy sales people trying to hide the cost per metre or sell me an overly inflated interest free deal. The more flooring shops I visited, the more I realised that these people just wanted to relieve me of my cash and sell me what they wanted. Billy and Frank are true professionals in that they will consult with you for as long as it takes. I found that Suburban Floor to be open and transparent, their main aim was my satisfaction. I know that I just purchased I floor, but I am extremely grateful to Billy and Frank for taking this journey with me, I am grateful for all their advice and of course I'm grateful for my brand new floor which I think is simply spectacular.
