Revisited Subway tonight. The store looked nice and clean, the service was good as they trained a new employee. The sandwhich was tasty and spicy like they advertised, maybe a little skimpy on portions, overall okay, I will return...
For the love of god and all things holy may you please put more time and effort into insuring that your employees are trained to the companies standards. I ordered a steak and cheese, with mayo, Baja chipotle, and sweet onion sauce on it. The worker used two hands and all of her might into squeezing the mayonnaise onto my sandwich along with the Baja chipotle sauce. My sandwich was swimming like Phelps. I couldn’t even eat half of one six inch because I couldn’t taste anything else. I’m saddened as this subway used to be my go-to
Terrible customer service, getting ready to shut down the place 3 hours before closing time. We were the only two people there, and it took over 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches.
MANAGER HAS A NASTY ATTITUDE I received my sandwich at 12:45 at its original pick up time and when I came home the sandwiches were completely soggy. So I returned to the location and asked if I could receive new sandwiches and the woman that was working at the time had a very unpleasant attitude and proceeded to ask when they were picked up, I responded with 12:45. When she finally stated that she could remake the sandwiches she ripped the receipt off the sandwich bag with frustration and proceeded to tell me the sandwiches are soggy because the chicken was extra juicy lately. When I finally received my sandwiches she proceeded to tell her coworker that my reaction was inappropriate before I could leave the store. We honestly love Subway and and have been customers for years but we will be looking elsewhere for our sandwiches because her attitude was extremely unpleasant and I can't fathom giving business to a company that treats their customers in such a way.
I order a foot long of a BMT I was there Sunday night and I got so sick from what they put on it and I don’t think they are checking the dates before server it to me and this is the second time I’ve gotten sick and they need to look at all the stuff before making sandwiches for everyone don’t think I will be going back again if they can’t change and watch the date on the stuff come on people can’t be that hard to look at the date before it’s getting bad
The customer service was quick and accurate. The food was fresh and delicious!!! I left thoroughly satisfied.
This is the second subway location that has had issues of not having bread..... At a sandwich shop. On top of that literally waited on line for 20+ mins. The woman behind the counter was had an indifferent attitude but I can understand with her being the only one there. Subway used to be on top of it, what happened?
Literally the worst service I've ever had at a subway. I worked for multiple subways for about 10 years total and the service I saw today blew me away. First of all, the guy making me and my kids sandwiches shorted both my kids sandwiches two slices of meat. And he was very very slow. His coworker, a dark haired lady, did almost nothing to help him. She would get on the line, top a sandwich, then go ring out and then stand at the register staring at the guy making sandwiches. Then, the guy making the sandwich topped one of my daughters sandwiches, wrapped it and then went back to starting sandwiches, leaving the other two sandwiches I ordered just sitting there. At this time, a guy came in to pick up an order he made over 30 minutes ago and they hadn't even started his order, and told him to come back in like another 30 minutes. Then, the lady finally decided to help and started putting on her gloves, but then decided that she needed to pull up her pants. She did so, and then finished making my food. When she rang us up and I didn't give them a tip, she made some sort of disapproving noise. I will not be going back to this subway ever again. Update: Against my better judgment, I have returned to this subway twice since this review. I can say that while the service has slightly improved, I still have had bad experiences both times in regard to the food. I will for sure not be returning again. There are three or four other subways in Ames where the service and the food are much better. I would advise any other subway in Ames instead of this one.
With a newborn baby, we ordered on the app to minimize the amount of time spent inside the restaurant due to covid. After going to the counter at the time our order was specified to be finished, the employee told us they had to serve everyone in line first, before starting our order. There were at least 12 people in line with a steady stream going in the door. What is the point of ordering ahead on the app to wait an extra 20 minutes after our order was supposed to be finished? Very disappointed with this service and policy.
Every time I come to this subway, the staff is very friendly and kind. Tonight I ordered a take out somewhat close to close and I still was able to grab my sandwich quickly. I felt bad about coming in so close to close but the staff was still friendly to me even though they appeared a little understaffed which I know can be stressful. Overall a great store, clean, and friendly.
