My kids are pretty good about trying new things, they like all types of foods...which is great. Sometimes though they crave familiar favorites and for them that is Subway. I think, as far as quick food goes, the chain is one of the healthier options available. I have to say, I have never been in a Subway anywhere that the service and quality hasn’t been excellent. The location on the Seward Highway is exceptionally clean and, even with COVID procedures in place and other people in there, they were fast and friendly.
This subway i’m at, on seward highway in anchorage had only 2 employees working yet they were both working really hard and were both super nice. Their names are Josh and Paul
Uggh!!! I'm so sorry to complain about Subway. Usually I can go in and the vegetables look presentable. Not today. So I decided to forgo the vegetables because the lettuce was brown on the edges and the tomatoes which weren't appealing either. Needed to be changed out to look fresh. Besides the meat & cheese on the sandwich I asked for banana peppers which the employee literally gave me 5 on my FOOT LONG sandwich. Had to ask for more. Very disappointed... I hope this place makes a come back.
The Manager Cindy is rude..Don't treat her team members respectful and takes there tips. Nasty....
Great service I had to wait a little bit for my takeout order, however, that was yesterday and they were extremely busy and only had two people working. One of their employees has worked there for 4 years and does great under pressure. The food is excellent and this is probably the best Subway in town
The sandwich tasted fine and the service was decent, however, we noticed that the vegetables were in a kind of a rough shape. I refrigerated one half of a sandwich which i ate the following day for lunch. Later that night while at a friend’s house, i started to get cold sweats at a stomach ache before realizing that I got food poisoning. I was very sick all night. We believe it may have been due to a mishandling of the sauce or meat that was on the sandwich. This has never happened to me before.
I've ordered here on a few separate occasions and I left special instructions for no bacon that goes completely ignored!.
Very rude manager horrible customer service all the way around
Two people at the counter but only one person making sandwiches. One person standing next to the register and only ringing up orders. 12 people in line and only 1 sandwich being made at a time. Terrible use of time. Waited 20 minutes before leaving and going elsewhere.
I rarely almost never give negative reviews, but this location has gone downhill. This use to be my favorite store to go to especially back in 2017. The original staff were kind, gave excellent customer service and when my card was declined because of a technical issue, the manager trusted that I would comeback and pay. In 2021, a whole new different crew. The afternoon shift starting with the assistant manager is so RUDE. Extremely rude. I walk in the store, no greeting, asked if I was a dasher. No biggie. I wanted to order a melt, his reply was, “do you know what a melt is?” That caught me off guard. Didn’t know I was being quizzed on my sandwich knowledge. Then I had another sandwich, he asked if I wanted cheese, then he said never mind. I replied, I want cheese. Very politely. He replied, “it comes with mozzarella, THATS WHY I SAID NEVER MIND! Ummmm ok? Calm down bro. Then while he’s making the 2nd sandwich, the first one is burning up in the oven. To make a long story short, the staff is rude. This wasn’t the first time dealing with rude employees from this location. I understand you’re having a bad day or hate your job, but you don’t have to take your anger out on the customers. Not a welcoming environment anymore. I will not be returning back to this location.
