I ordered online at 9pm. They are open until 10pm. I get there at 9:10 and not only are they closed but they also charged my card and said completed in the app. Complete rip off artists instead of sandwich artists. I will remove this review when and if they refund me but I'll never return to this location either way. I took these pictures from the window. Obviously they were hanging out in the back or they walked out.
Ordered from the app and went to pick up the order. When I arrived, it wasn't ready, and they told me they didn't have the ingredients I wanted. I asked them to refund it, they told me they couldn't, and I had to wait for a district manager to show up and do it. They took my phone number, and never called me back. I had to contact the subway website and the Director of Operations was able to quickly reverse the charge. Very appreciative of that.
Very well prepared sandwich and friendly staff today. I don't visit often but it does remind me of my childhood although I miss the yellow on black color scheme. Thank you for an excellent so much and hope to return sometime! The vegetables were fresh and sandwich was well prepared
Ordered online for 1 person. Salad and a sandwich. With a nice tip for the Grubhub delivery driver it was over $50. I opened the salad and found only 2 ingredients, bacon and a few slices of the fresh mozzarella optional. There was no lettuce, spinach or vegetables of any kind! I have the order that shows a BLT salad with all of the ingredients I had ordered. I called the store and was told that the only ingredients that I ordered were extra bacon and fresh mozzarella. I made clear that I had ordered a full salad with many ingredients. The woman on the phone became extremely combative immediately and made it clear that the only ingredients that were in the salad I ordered were bacon and fresh mozzarella. She made it clear that there was nothing that they could do about it. She made it clear that obviously I had made a mistake. She hung up on me. This raised my hackles. I called back and asked to speak with the manager. I was told that there is no manager. I was told that the stores are independently owned. I asked to speak to the owner. I was told that the owner “Tong” does not care. I was then hung up on again. I called from a different number and asked for the regional managers phone number. I was told that they had already contacted their regional manager and that she did not care. She said that the store staff had done the right thing. Fifty dollars is a lot of money for a sandwich and salad. It would have been so easy to make it right. Offer a refund or a store credit. Have the salad that I bought delivered. But instead I was belittled, told I had not placed my order correctly, even though I have a copy of the correct order on my phone. There are many options out there. Nobody should be treated the way that the Glendale Subway staff treated me. To be told that the regional manager was informed and doesn’t care? To be told that the owner couldn’t care less? Maybe the stories about Subway are true. Maybe their corporate culture is really that toxic. Maybe they are going under. It’s too bad, I hadn’t had one of their subs for a while. I was really looking forward to it. I obviously didn’t get what I expected. I am still a bit shocked by the rudeness and lack of consideration shown by these folks. The only thing that I can think is that it must be a awful place to work. I wouldn’t want to see a dog treated the way I was treated by the #Glendale Subway. Do your self a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Obvious new employee, did not spread out the meat on my sandwich, lettuce was light brown, all veggies looked wilted. Place was clean, sandwich was not so great. I think everyone has given up on this thing called life. Obviously we are all too tired to care. Update: as of the day I ate their, have had diarrhea since. Check your meat people!
Unprofessional staff, walking in and out of the store, huddling in the back while one of the warmers was beeping, talking to each other all while ignoring my online order. Super poor experience, I liked how close they were but I'll go to the yale location from now on.
I walked in alone waiting on a friend as the Mexican girl she was a lone and she says what do u want , I'm not ready yet turned told the man go ahead as she tells him she don't know what she needs I let it a lone and when she finished r order no thank u and no have a nice day .At that point girl was just down out rude.but her co worker was nice enough.
Good customer service. Which is surprising for the times. Food was made quickly and properly. I got a footlong meal with 3 cookies. They had everything in stock. The employees were nice.
The sandwich was good. The guy putting it together was scrimping on the toppings like the place was going out of business if they put too much on the sandwiches. I ate in and heard the same young man tell a new employee that they don't get paid enough to do something as she was staying busy and cleaning.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Charged my card twice, showed them my phone showing they charged me twice. Told me to call subway to deal with it, I just left the tall guy told me as I’m leaving “don’t have a nice day”. Save your money it’s just a bunch of people who dgaf about working there serving you
