A Southern Seafood place cooking Louisiana Style. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. They played good music. They even have an ATM machine inside by the bathroom. The place was packed, and the food came out quickly. It’s very artistic looking and the bathroom and the old chain flush option. My family shared a few options that was really delicious. Deviled eggs with crab meat on top,Hush Puppies,it’s corn bread that comes with a milk dipping sauce,Seafood Jambalaya. It just had the right spice on it. Crab Cake Benedict and deep fried oysters.
One of the best Louisiana style restaurants located in the boroughs of NYC. I’ve had every dish on the menu , breakfast - dinner and no mistake I’ve enjoyed them all. Drinks are decent, check the happy hour options you will get lit. Some options only available in summer. Definitely a go to spot for any event if you want something different
Great spot for creole food!! Everything was delicious, the portions were good, and the service was great. Brunch is offered everyday with a bottomless option for $21.95. However, they offer a limited version of the brunch menu during the week, compared to on the weekends.Food: 5/5
Nice atmosphere and scenery. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Feels like you're at your grandparents house and all of your family and friends are gathered together for a celebration. Rustic style decorations makes it even more comfortable. The food is cooked to perfection and served fresh and hot.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
So my friends recommended this place and I’ve been wanting to find another seafood boil bag place since my favorite in greenpoint Brooklyn closed down. I have to say that the food here is great! Yes the price is a little high but the food was good. Plus they don’t just have seafood boil bag, they have some other options. But I’ll be coming back here to enjoy more good food!
This place is a vibe, it is New Orleans themed and the food is amazing! If you never been to New Orleans you can have something sooooo close to home without the long travel. It was a bit busy on a Sunday around brunch time but we were able to get a seat usually reservations are better but we got lucky. They even do a cute 1 hour 30 min bottomless drink for brunch. The mac & cheese was amazing and the fried chicken was soooo juicy. The bread they have with the oysters so crunchy & buttery. There were so many great options I can’t wait to go back & try some more. They offer indoor and outdoor dining!
Food is great, with personable service from manager, during lul period. Had a simple and good cocktail with the essence of jalapenos! Their southern food is pretty good, considering it's NYC. All in cost for a non-happy hour cocktail, gumbo soup and banana pudding was pretty reasonable for NYC standards!
Delicious food and good portions! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Attentive staff. Expected pricing. Good ambiance. The drinks were delicious & actually strong!, too!
Very great ambience. The food was delicious, although if I could go back I wouldn’t bother with the deviled eggs they were NOT worth the price paid. Perhaps I asked this the wrong way or something, but when I asked for non alcoholic drinks they told me they could make the drinks virgin which is weird cus what restaurants doesn’t have have sodas?. Servers were really friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth visiting at least once.
Last minute dinner with some friends who live in the area...I wasn't blown away or anything, but the place is a total vibe for sure. Very nice theme and decor. The cocktails were pretty good, specially the Zombie. And I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was okay...considering the neighborhood does offer other restaurants with better food. The food wasn't bad but could be better. Maybe I'll have to try it again soon.
