Sugar House Vision

Went to get my eyes checked and hope for contacts during COVID. Payed the $40 contact fee to try and get contacts. I had a scare and then got COVID. After a month and a half they wanted another $40 fee to continue working on my contact prescription so I said screw it. I paid well past my $75 allowable for bendy glasses because I’m an avid reader. The “bendy glasses” are now broken. I’ve have 5-10 Zenni Optical glasses that are still not broken 8 years later and they cost $10-$50 a pair. Too bad my eyes won’t stay the same. Overall not the greatest customer experience with the admin team and they’re product doesn’t last. This place is a scam and I’m extremely disappointed.

Great experience from start to finish. As someone who has never had an eye exam or utilized such benefits I was impressed that they encouraged me to call my insurance prior to scheduling to avoid out-of-network fees. Upon arriving, Brian was very friendly and informative. Dr. Valliere was equally as friendly and spent significant time trying to best explain and understand my chief complaint. I highly recommend and would definitely return for any future needs.

My child had an eye appointment yesterday to check his rx and get contact lenses. Staff at this office performed some kind of gorgeous alchemy to help restore the function of the glasses he already had to tide us over. I love this practice already! Thank you!

Great customer service experience. I had concerns about my current contact lens brand giving me a bit of eye dryness. The doctor gave me a few samples to try from different brands to see which were the most comfortable. He also explained any other questions I had in good detail.

I love the Sugar House Vision Clinic! I went there for the first time a few months ago. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, funny, and helpful. Brian in particular was so funny and helpful! The whole team made me feel right at home and comfortable. I got a great eye exam from Dr. Darren Terry, who spent extra time double checking that he got my prescription right which I really appreciated. Brian also helped me pick out a pair of new glasses. I highly recommend going to the clinic - you'll have a great, welcoming experience every time.

The staff here are incredibly helpful. I called them from Louisville Kentucky trying to find a specific type of lens and they helped me by giving me all the information I needed knowing that they would never make a single dime off of my business. Because I'm in kentucky. Go to this place, patronize this business, you won't be disappointed. They go above and beyond

I went to the same optometrist for years and trusted her implicitly. When we relocated to Salt Lake City, I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find one as good. I made an appointment with Sugar House Vision because it had good reviews and it was close to my house. I saw Dr. Valliere. He fit me with a pair of multifocal RGP lenses and I couldn’t be more pleased. I have worn contact lenses for 50 years and the lenses Dr. Valliere prescribed are the best that I have ever worn. I was treated well by the staff and was notified promptly when my new lenses arrived. I don’t know why anyone would have anything negative to say about Sugar House Vision. I guess some people just like to complain. I am very happy that I made the appointment and I love, love, love my new contacts. Thank you, Dr. Valliere!
