I had received an excellent recommendation form a colleague of mine for Summit Fitness in particular Brad Williamson. With the exception of one previous trainer, I have had terrible previous experiences with trainers, mainly because they did not listen to me, consider my age and fitness level. I am 65, overweight and have a chronic back issue along with sciatic pain down my legs. I explained all of this to Brad along with my desire to increase my general stability, strength, and fitness level. Since working with Brad, I physically feel better, stronger, have more energy and have lost weight. I appreciate that Brad has been very patient with my physical limitations and sometimes my hectic work schedule. Very important to me is the fact that Brad listens and always asks how I feel, if something is too difficult, he figures out either a work around or another exercise to meet my level and skill. I never feel I am being put in a situation for which I could get hurt. Brad is professional, extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and sincerely cares about his clients reaching their goals, no matter their age or fitness level. I highly recommend Brad and Summit Fitness for anyone looking for a terrific trainer.
Kayla has been a key component of my self-care over the last 7 months, with challenging and creative workouts that get results. It's a lot of heavy lifting, and I am never bored. I feel so strong! Every workout is mapped out and fits in to overall goals. She is encouraging and calm, and quick to smile, but she's also tough and believes in my abilities. I feel lucky to have found her. The gym itself has a great vibe, is well-equipped with cardio and weights, as well as a shower.
I've been working out at Summit Fitness for nearly 18 months now. I signed up for a small group circuit training class and have been at it ever since. I had a membership at a corporate gym for years that I almost never used because I didn't care for the scene. I struggled to find motivation to hit the gym but as it turned out, I just hadn't found the right workout for me. When I decided to make a real commitment to getting in shape, I shopped quite a few gyms but something about Summit just felt right. Kayla coaches my group and we all appreciate her personal approach and style. She's very professional and motivates us to push it a little outside our comfort zone while respecting our individual needs and goals. Kayla and the Summit Fitness staff have helped me to succeed where I've fallen short for years and I have nothing but positive things to say about this operation. Give them a chance to help you achieve your goals. You won't be disappointed!
If you are looking for the best personalized training gyms in the Denver area, Summit Fitness is it! I've been working with Alex for a number of months now and I get up feeling better and stronger every day. I haven't had workouts like this since I was in high school 10 years ago. Seriously worth every penny, if you are looking to get back into fitness, keep up with your routine, or push yourselves to new heights that you haven't hit yet, this is where you need to be!
Working out with Alex has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. When I started personal training at Summit I had a lot of reservations about the effectiveness and cost of individual sessions. My fears were overcome by a welcoming group of people who wanted to help me learn about building strength and mobility. I no longer felt intimidated about being the girl who didn’t know what she was doing in the gym as I started learning from professionals. I feel much more confident. I’m definitely stronger and my back feels better than when I was just doing yoga 5x/week. The coaching went beyond the gym as Alex helped me clean up my nutrition and set and stick to dietary goals, something I’d never been able to do on my own. I am moving and wish I’d been able to continue my training at Summit, or that I could take Alex with me! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get stronger but don’t know where to start or if you just want someone on your team providing the expert support to enable you to achieve your goals.
Fantastic gym with a great owner, Brad! I became a personal training client 2 months ago and I could not be more pleased. The training studio is spotless, well appointed, new and well maintained equipment, centrally located, and respectful of all COVID safety requirements. The small group fitness classes are appropriate for ALL fitness levels and everyone is incredibly supportive. My husband even loved the Saturday class. Saving the best for last... Trainer Kayla is the consumate professional. Kayla is detailed oriented, motivating, punctual, knowledgeable, tough yet so kind. The crew at Summit Fitness meet you where you are and help you realize your fitness goals. 5 star.
I participated in a 6-week group challenge geared to those over 40 and it was fantastic! I’ve worked out on my own for years, but I’ve never achieved the level of success I’ve seen while at Summit Fitness. In 6 weeks, I’ve successfully lost 2% bf, reached a weight I haven’t seen in the past 15 years and can see AND feel my results. All the trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and know how to challenge you to your limits in a fun, positive and supportive manner. My trainer, Alex Nugent is especially great to work with and has spent time getting to know all of us in the group and provides individualized attention, motivation and support. I look forward to continuing my fitness journey at Summit Fitness – you guys ARE THE BEST!!!!
