FANTASTIC small gym with affordable personal training. Easy and friendly environment for older clients but anyone of any age will feel comfortable here. Clean, modern equipment and very nice staff. Good selection of cardio machines, weight machines, and also free weights. There is a good squat rack. It's quiet and organized, there are no grunting "bro" bodybuilders hogging the weights. In fact I imagine if you're rude you'd lose your membership quickly. As a licensed healthcare professional massage therapist I would highly recommend training here one-one-one for any clients over 65 or any clients with chronic pain. I can unstick the stuff that’s short and tight and bound up, but only YOU and your trainer can target the weak stuff and improve your posture and functionality. It's a very calm and pleasant environment. Conveniently located in the shopping center by the Safeway. Easy parking. A terrific neighborhood gym. A++!!!
Excellent, thoroughly professional and attentive staff. I have worked with the trainers here over many months and have benefited greatly from the superb physical therapists for several years. The staff has expertly assisted me in improving my fitness 100% and helped me pursue my own interests - the workouts and treatments are tailored to individual needs. Staff is very good at communicating and following through. The gym is small, but I like it that way - you feel like you are part of a team and not overwhelmed by acres of equipment. I could not ask for a better fitness center and resource. Highly recommended.
Excellent facility with great personal trainers and experienced physical therapists. Of course, you can join the facility and just work out on your own. Very clean and well maintained with pleasant, helpful staff. This is a fitness center used generally by older adults who can take advantage of the equipment and other amenities in an intimate setting. Never over-crowded.
Gym membership got cancelled because I brought my jump rope in and was jumping rope in the gym. The owner told me to stop and I did, and the next thing I know, my membership gets cancelled with no warning or explanation. If you are not in your 60s and 70s with physical therapy needs, they do not value your business.
Me and my varsity team were looking for a new gym to train at so i called up Sumner Fitness to talk with their manager. Not only was i greeted by a monotone unenthusiastic person but they also handled my call in the most unprofessional manner. Not sure if there was a new person but im never coming there. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, THANK ME LATER
Terrific neighborhood gym carefully following COVID protocols.
