Sunrise Supermarket

I love this grocery so much, they are my favorite place for getting all my Asian cooking supplies we like to make traditional Korean, and Chinese dishes, and you can find everything here, fermented bean paste, spicy pepper paste, about 45 different kinds of vinegar...very fresh produce. We have not tried the fish market, but it is popular and has a wide selection, sometimes on the weekend, they even have Bubble (Boba) tea, remember the tea is Cash only, The regular grocer is cash or card. It is a wonderful cultural experience just to go and enjoy - also a great place to get cute dishes! One of my favorite places in Knoxville. It's right behind Sonic, next to Books a Million, and Asia Kitchen (which is delicious and you need to try it if you haven't been there- amazing and made to order!)

Sunrise Markets is absolutely amazing. We ordered blue crab and they let us inspect every single one to make sure they were alive. When my husband inspected them, every single crab was alive. He purchased over 50 lbs of live blue crabs! I have purchased seafood from there before and have always been pleased. I love that place and am amazed at their patience and professionalism!

The vegetables and fruits are fresh. There are plenty of fresh and frozen fish and meat to choose. This is one of the biggest Asian grocery in the Area. The staffs are nice and try their best to help every costumer. I can get ingredients to make my Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, or Thai dish from this supermarket. I also find the best candy bar from Turkey here.

The best stop for affordable produce and hard-to-find items. I come here for my Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian and Latin cooking supplies. The layout of the store seems confusing at first, but you learn where things are pretty quickly and it is a pleasure to just move up and down the aisles looking for unexpected great finds. I get my cooking staples, like rice, oil and soy sauce, for a great price. I have also been known to browse their cookware section for bowls, cups and utensils.

An interesting place to shop. All kinds of Asian food items to choose from. We enjoy our visits.
