This place is decent, but I wish it could be maintained a little more cleanliness wise. Though, it seems like they do the best they can for the area : it can get busy! But there’s good slow hours.
The machines run well, it's very simple, I'm guessing a good price first laundry mat I've actually used, not just passed by They don't seem to have a bathroom, which sucks, and it can get really warm, but overall, considering a single wash/dry cycle is usually only 45-60 minutes, it's not bad. It's a very bare bones place, but that's part of it's charm, and how they keep costs down!
$5 to anyone who can tell me when the floors were last cleaned. It's not the dirtiest, but certainly not the cleanest. No restroom. The machines do a good job and there's no mold in them which can be a tough thing to achieve in the PNW. The dryers are on their last legs so be sure to add extra time or your clothes will still be wet. Prices are the cheapest I've come across so no complaints there.
First off bring your own laundry detergent and towels. The machine loves to rip you off and there's no one there to help you get your money back. Also put $20 in the coin machine and only got 1975 back. I am never doing laundry at this place again
What a great little laundry. Barely anyone here on a Saturday noon. Nice and quiet with people relaxing on the little old-school elementary looking style row of benches they have on the windows. The flags of the world make you feel inclusive and sense of community. Thank you all.
This is a really nice and clean little laundry mat and the cost is pretty low. Everything is in good working order except the candy and chip machine.
I only go out of desperation, my dryer broke and it's the closest laundry to me. It's always dirty, the machines smell moldy, there is gunk stuck in the dryer like gum or candy, and to top it off they OVERCHARGE if you use your card. The sign says they will hold $10 on the card, but we will only be charged the cost of the wash, in my case it should have been $7.75. The first time, was back in December of 2022, never did they correct the amount. This time I brought cash, but of course the quarter machine was down. I had already unloaded everything, and was alone, didn't feel comfortable leaving my stuff, so I called the number ahead of time, explaining I don't want to be over charged again. Of course I was over charged again! I was overcharged $18 in December and $11.25 last week. I just need to find a different spot when my dryer goes out. I would NOT recommend it to anyone!
I would honestly just go to Wash World on fourth plain over this one. It’s cheaper but hella dirty. Came to wash a few things so I wouldn’t ruin my washer and def won’t be using these washers again. The whole place needs a DEEP clean.
The owners are nice and I would give them five stars if the restroom were open to customers during business hours. They closed it due to people using it for nefarious purposes. I don't blame the owners but it makes it inconvenient when you are washing laundry. I suppose that's everywhere these days. This is a very big place with a lot of big dryers. If I recall there are six big washers. They were $6.50 or maybe $7.50 but I can update that next time I go to be sure.
If you’re gonna put up a threatening sign, MAKE SURE, as a business owner you can at least follow through on your end with PROVIDING QUARTERS. Showed up after working a 12 hour shift to wash a bunch of scrubs. Gonna have to let our department know this place is a bust.
