If and when they get higher quality products I will update this review. But at the moment of writing this, I can only give it 2 stars. No offense but half the staff don't speak English and show favoritism towards non Spanish speaking customers. Especially in the seafood department. It's ironic tho because that's what I like the most about this place. The seafood department is excellent besides the service at times. The selection is huge. And the prices are great. Only thing they don't have is lobster or certain crabs. As far as the rest of the store, the food quality is probably d or c grade at best and it is way overpriced. And I mean a lot of dollars more than other supermarkets. So be prepared for that. But they also have a lot of international products. That's 100 percent a great thing. U can find items from other countries here that u can't find in other supermarkets. So if u want good seafood and a large variety of international products this is the way to go. But if your looking to buy regular domestic groceries, this is the most expensive for the lesser quality items they have.
Great selection of Spanish food , Central America and South America. Best priced “Corvina” in New Jersey Superfresh every time I get the corvina a ceviche and sudado and couple breaded fillet is a must. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh, great selection of cold cuts and some fresh salads.
I have been shopping here since I moved to the area, but yesterday I encountered the worst customer service. && I will be writing a review on their page everyday. The disrespect Teresa has towards paying customers, seems like she has no knowledge in her field. She is ignorant, racist, and have horrible customer service skills. I will be back to express what actually happened, and how their food is expired and they have faulty items. Sad part about it all is they don’t even take the time out to write the policy out on their receipt.. they place it at one register.. I suggest you buy no meat or dairy from this supermarket!
I love shopping at SuperFresh, but they're always moving the items from one place to another, making it very difficult to find certain items. To managerial staff, please stop moving the items. It's annoying and frustrating. That alone will end up making me go to another supermarket altogether and stop shopping there. You could have gotten a five-star review if it wasn't for that hindrance. STOP IT!!!
Have the best Plantain chips, Very crunchy. Love the variety and super clean store
I’ve been shopping at that store since they opened but today, my heart sunk when I witnessed a manager screaming at a cashier that was trying to explain herself. I don’t think she deserves to be treated like that when you can override that transaction. All she needs is to be properly trained. She is not your child or your slave. Show some kindness to your frontline workers. You can see that all workers were quiet as you were acting like an elephant in the room. Please be kind and show respect to your customers. We don’t need to see that. Thank you!
Well stocked store find anything you need for cooking. Lots of south America and Caribbean groceries, also clean and accessable to all isle and Caribbean and south America paradise of groceries. Excellent quick staffing and check is a breeze.
Staff closes the store at 11:40pm, but website says close at 12am. When another gentleman and I showed up at 11:45pm to get one item from pharmacy not to shop the security guard stated we close. We both politely inquired that we thought the store closes at 12am which he stated we have to count the registers so I can get home. If your store closed at 11:40pm that is fine but please change the store hours to reflect that.
It's my first time here and I love it. This place caters to every nationality...a one stop shop. Wish it was in my home state/neighborhood
I come to leave a complaint for the cashier number 205 Balmore, it is not our customers' fault that you had a bad day, I just asked a question in a very good way, the guy has a horrible attitude when it comes to serving and the supervisor is a person racist towards Latinos, the supermarket has mostly Latino products but the supervisor is a ridiculous person and has a terrible attitude when someone makes a complaint to her
