Jury service. Much more efficient process than my previous experience serving on a jury in a different county. Nice building. Parking and taking a shuttle was a little inefficient. Security was terse at the entrance but that's understandable. Plenty of room and seats to wait with lockers, Cafe, TVs, and reading material. Look for the 1992 or was it 1993? readers digest abridged if you like fiction - it's a book with no jacket. Can't complain.
I would give 0 stars if possible. When you call the number for jury service, they give you no information whatsoever. Nothing about how long it will be, so when I got here at 7:45am I was told we will be able to leave at 5pm. I’m missing work because of this, they aren’t refunding me, I’m already in financial hardship as is, this doesn’t help. Not to mention I have no food, no water and no money to buy anything. I have low blood sugar and stomach ulcers, yet the court doesn’t care about your problems.
Came for jury service. Sat around the entire day doing nothing. Completely inefficient waste of time. This could've been handled remotely or using 'on-call' setup. Literally dozens of working-class people can help nobody because we are required to sit in a building and do nothing while government workers figure out how to maximize societal inefficiency.
Hard to get around the aera where the court is lots of construction advice to leave early so you don't miss your court appointment you can find metered parking on first street and Jackson hope this is helpful
