I came to Susanna with with a difficult problem and no time to solve it. It was a week until my friend's wedding and I had a bridesmaid dress that needed to be tailored in multiple ways. One of the ways it needed tailoring was even a bigger problem than I realized as it needed to be taken out when there really wasn't a lot of material to do so. Susanna not only agreed to tailor my dress when I'm sure she had a full schedule, did it within the time limit I needed less than a week as I had to leave that Friday, but did such a beautiful job on the dress. She found a way to fix the major problem, hemmed it and made other smaller alterations that made it fit like a dream. It fit perfectly and I felt beautiful. She was also so reassuring when I was super nervous trying to get everything ready before my friend's big day. I could not be more thankful for Susanna and cannot recommend her enough. Her talent, attention to detail, and kind heart are a jewel of Hoboken.

She is a miracle worker! I have been awed by her skills multiple times now! I am a curvy petit woman, so most clothes never fit quite right. Susanna is very creative and her solutions are always perfect! She hears my concerns and then fixes everything for me! And the prices are always fair! I love her! She is the only seamstress I use and I recommend her to everyone!

Susanna is soo great at what she does, so kind, and honest! I just had her tailor my wedding dress and custom make my veil. You do need to check in with her to make sure she’s still going to give you things when you expected / before you go in to pick up - but she always picks up/returns calls, and goes above and beyond if she can. I’ll definitely have her custom make a dress for me down the road!

I have such amazing things to say about Susanna! She altered my wedding dress for my small ceremony in just 1 day in the middle of a pandemic! She was fantastic to work with, she made sure I was truly happy with everything and the dress looked fantastic! Prices were very reasonable too, especially for Hoboken! I will be back for all of my alterations in the future.

Susanna is amazing! I had gone to her before for a bridesmaid dress fitting and knew she was something special and very talented. When I got engaged I knew immediately where to take my wedding dress. During quarantine it was really tough trying to find a place that was open...but to no surprise Susanna was open! She is an angel and was wonderful to work with. She fitted my dress perfectly, gave me suggestions on proper undergarments and even made a matching mask. I am so thankful to have found her and will forever be a supporter of her business. She truly does amazing work and I have gone to other tailors with less than impressive results. My wedding dress had these complicated traps in the back that Susanna effortlessly remeasured, she dry cleaned by dress so that it was truly white and even used blue threading for my bustle something blue. I would recommend her to anyone and I have; she even did my mother's dress for my wedding and two of my wedding guests. Susanna was just absolutely positive and flexible to work with especially during these unique times. She is fairly priced and really does go above and beyond to make sure you are a satisfied customer. My only recommendation is to absolutely CALL before going. She is a one woman shop and is very busy so just make sure you can get a hold of her before making the trip.

Susanna ruined my dress, and not only that, she was incredibly rude, pushy, and disrespectful. DO NOT GO HERE. Not only that, but she is unreliable and literally screams at you at the drop of a pin. She has issues.

Susanna is an amazing seamstress/tailor/artist. Brought my Watters skirt and corset for alterations and she turned it into a full gown! Susanna is very attentive to detail. She created a simply bustle which did not take away from the original design and altered a silk corset-a material which is very challenging to work with. In addition, she is very communicative. She always answered her phone and was very patient in addressing all questions. I would highly recommend Susanna for any tailoring and alterations!

Susannah was amazing! Right as I walked in to her store, she was there with immediate assistance. Susannah was warm, and was beyond nice. Additionally, her work was amazing. I gave her 3 dresses and once I got them back, they were perfect. I highly recommend her shop!!
