My wife and I have been going here for a few years now. It's a nice cozy area and the prices of their sushi is pretty fair. I absolutely love baked rolls and I'm super happy I'm able to get a lion king roll that's pretty much down my street. I'd like to say this place is kind of a hole in the wall restaurant. But their sushi here great and we always come back to this place!
The miso soup and salmon teriyaki were good. The tempura was greasy, you couldn't taste the vegetables and shrimp, just grease. Spider role was the worse I've ever had. It was mostly just fried batter, like they made a whole role with a just a quarter of a softshell crab. It wasn't rolled tight and no effort in presentation at all really. Oh, we were the first and only customers so it wasn't an issue of them being swamped. Definitely won't be back.
The specialty ubagi role was really good but pretty slash given that it cost $18. The restaurant was almost entirely empty in a Monday evening which felt kind of weird. Everyone was really nice and respectful but there is just an odd aura in the place.
I had a Bento Box with Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Salad, Soup, Rice, and Edamame. I also shared a Godzilla Roll with my son. The Beef was really, really good! It was so tender and tasty! The salad dressing was also good. The Godzilla Roll was ok, along with the Salmon.
Nice little place. We went for lunch to celebrate our son's first week of kindergarten. The little guy asked for sushi. Food was good and great service. They even refilled the miso soup as our son really liked it and drank almost the whole bowl.
Nice people, but we just ordered here andtried to eat it. The fish on our California roll and shrimp tempura tuna rolls were rotted, smelled sour, very mushy texture. I could only get one bite in before we all decided to just throw it out. The miso soup was very low quality with little to no effort or seaweed. Waste of money.
Okay quality sushi rolls.
Excellent sushi i have taken nemo vegetarian and tambura vegetable fried. Chicken dragon and como dish also ok.near taj mahal Grocery center this sushi boulevards
We frequented this place because they make generous sushi rolls and fish always tastes fresh. However, the service is horrendous. The server will visit your table just once and will never come back until you get up and track her down. Simple courteous and attentive service is completely lacking. After a couple more visits the rude service killed our appetite for good and we are never going back.
Beware of fake crabmeat, the menu does not tell you that, for the price, you’d think they’d use real crabmeat. Sushi rice was soggy. Very disappointed.
