Sushi Garden

It's a very good restaurant. This is really very good quality, and authentic Japanese. We have come back two evenings in a row. It's exceptional. Very good low sulphur wine is very nice. Very drinkable. Location is average, the place looks average, but the chef is a bloody foood samurai! It's worth finding this place!

The food is just okay and the sashimi is fresh. However, the waiter and waitress are a bit rude. I suspect of the discrimination cuz I felt different serve between us and other white people. They don't say thank you when we help the waiter move the stuffs on the table for serving the new dishes. Also after we say thank you to them. I don't think it deserves 10% service charge. I don't recommend any Chinese to come here.

Sushi has been an integral part of my life for many years, having been training in Japanese martial arts and immersing myself in Japanese culture from an early age. Our dining experience at Sushi Garden last night was an absolute home run! Everything from the freshness of the ingredients, the mise en scene and decor and even the background music was authenticity Japanese and there's something for everyone on the menu. If you're craving fresh fish prepared in the traditional Japanese way in Brighton, look no further than Sushi Garden. Kanpai! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available. Kid-friendliness: Entirely depends upon if your children like sushi. Parking: Very limited on street parking. Plenty of multi storey car parks nearby. Wheelchair accessibility: Could prove to be challenging to access for a wheelchair user, as there are a few steps. Dietary restrictions: Effectively catered for gluten free diet, vegetarian and vegan dishes also available.

The sushi was nice but the staff was okay. She wasn’t that friendly as I can’t spicy food or sauce and I told her to take the spicy sauce out and she said not possible as it is already made in it. But I saw other person making sushi from fresh which was weird why she could not take it out. And the other set dish that I wanted but has spicy sushi which I wanted to change, she said not possible to change. Whereas when I go to other sushi places they do that for me. Which I was disappointed because this place could not do it. But anyway food was delicious.

Super cute place with nice decorations and the sushi was amazing! It tasted fresh and there were a lot of options. Staff were very friendly and service was fast.

I was surprised honestly. Wasn’t expecting the sushi to be great, but it was the only place in Brighton I could find that had hamachi kama. It was massive. Make sure to ask for ponzu though as it didn’t come with, and if you love wasabi ask for extra there too.

It's delicious and fresh and real japanese sushi and not only there are many different japanese dishes and the service is nice .there are japanese alcoholic drinks . I recommend ...little bit expensive for this place.Food: 5/5

Not sure whether the chef is Japanese or not, but sushi were pretty good!! only that.. there were a bit too much of the rice... Sushi omakase consists of good variety, good portion!!

Best sushi in Brighton, very fresh and tasty! We had a very welcoming and lovely Sunday’s evening here! You could see the sushi being made and the chef is very professional too! His attention to detail is wonderful too! The wait staff is very polite and welcoming! Highly recommend to others who love authentic Japanese food!!

Above average sushi. Good service. A bit pricey.
