Swanky B Boutique

One business I will never spend my funds at is Swanky B's. I went in right b4 closing. I understand folks r ready 2 go home but, the sign said open so I stopped in. This was my first time in this store. So, I'm browsing for like 2 minutes and the employee gone say ma'am I'm sorry but we're closed. U could have said that when u saw me walk in. I quietly walked out. U might have missed a sale. Just rude way of doing business. Guess ya'll so high class u didn't need my coins! Good cause I'll keep them. Thanks

It is a shame that people with gang up to try and sabotage a small business as tough as the economy is. Don't let the negative reviews stop you from coming in to this cute little boutique. They always have the best prices and the best clothes. No other business in this small town has more reviews..

So I have already rated this place on yelp, but I am here because it seems that the owner actually monitors these reviews --- I have been to SwankyB SEVERAL times on SEVERAL occasions. I try to give every business a chance. We all have our days! I have quite a few cute pieces from here, and I was actually one of their first customers when they opened a few years ago. I can honestly say that EVERY time I go in, I have a different customer service experience. The issue is with the owner. Any time I have gone in and dealt with the other employees, they have been cordial. Unfortunately, she can't keep employees, so it's usually the owner manning the register. The only time I had decent customer service is when she didn't speak to me at all (on my last visit). Dear owner, customer service is obviously not your thing. In a town as small as Starkville, your name will be ruined in no time. No one can deny that your merchandise is decent. Please: HIRE STAFF TO MAN THE REGISTER. I literally don't even feel comfortable trying on clothes in the store. Your energy is WAY off.

My experience here was unbelievable, almost like a scene from a movie. The “owner” of the store literally kicked me out for my choice of words. I am a strong believer of “your business your decisions” but she went entirely the wrong direction with the way she handled the situation. She did respectfully tell me not to use profanity, which I respected. After a quick rebuttal she was standing in front of me ripping the clothes out of my hand and escorting me to the door. I am still shocked at her demeanor. HORRIBLE shopping experience.
