Sweet Factory

The owner/or manager (an older lady training a new employee) is very odd, and implied that my 15 month old was going to steal the candy she was grabbing. No lady, I don't have my kid trained to steal nor would I condone it. Haha, I literally laughed out loud when (I was at the register paying) she pointed at my kid and then said, "you have to pay for those." (It was those little mini tubes of mini m&ms) She's obviously a baby and being grabby and of course I'm going to put them back. I was literally loudly telling her, "no, no put those back, you can't have those." Obviously I was aware, but busy paying her for the candy we did want. I was going to put them back as soon as I was done paying. It was a weird interaction and an odd way to speak to a customer. Min. $3 charge on a credit card. Understandable, but annoying when I just wanted a couple little sweet treats. Probably won't ever bother going in again. I don't feel right giving people that treat customers like that my business.

About a year ago i came in for a job interview. I was told I was told i was too "old" to work here(I was 22 then). The hiring manager than began to say she did not think I could work because I had a child and a mother's job is to stay at home with the children. I will never try applying for a job here again nor will I ever buy candy from this store.
