This cute little diner is tucked away far west on Christopher Street, a block or two from the river. It's super chill, has everything you need and even a tiny table out front. Inexpensive, for this area especially, the food is fresh and fast, the service friendly and the atmosphere ranges from relaxed to kooky they have a life size Frankenstein out front, because why? Love this place, you probably will too

Best breakfast/brunch in town. The people here are amazing. Neighborhood staple no lie. Eggs are always on point and the Customers are always happy. That’s the best pulse check on a restaurant you could ever have. Clean plates? Yes sir. 10 stars for Sweet Life my guy.

I really enjoyed going here. I've passed the place often wanted to go when it wasn't packed. Good sized seating area. Valerie and Marilyn were both really nice. The food was good. The portion size was good for the price. Diners prices keep going up so this was better suited for what I wanted to spend. Overall great experience and I'm definitely going back.

Amazed to find an affordable little cafe in this area. Very nice people working here and cozy vibe; NOT one of those stuffy stainless steal cafes where the coffee cost $4. Definitely going to recommend!

A small but cute little diner/cafe. It doesn’t get too busy for breakfast which is good. There are just enough seats the weekend brunch crowd. The service is wonderful and the waitresses were friendly and helpful. They always manage to have a bright smile on their faces when serving you. They check in on you consistently and ask if you need anything. The prices here were inexpensive for the amount of food you get. Food comes out fast and in a timely manner. The food was very tasty for diner food. Would go here again and recommend this place to anyone else interested!

2 year Update: this place remains a winner after nearly two years of eating. Highly recommend, its my favorite spot in the city for a casual brunch--not too crowded, not pretentious. Just good old fashion food and service. Great little breakfast and lunch diner. The food was good quality AND the price was cheap. I'll be coming back for a long time. Only place that you can find $6 French toast and $9 omelette meals! The service was quick and the staff were incredibly friendly!! I love this place.

Sweet Life has been our cozy go to place since 2014. My husband and I shared the beginning of our relationship going to this cute little restaurant. Dolly and Jean are so friendly and welcoming that they become part of your family. What makes the difference? Their excellent service and the coziness of their food. This is actually my 4-year old daughter favorite restaurant, this is where we meet everyday during my lunch break.

If you are in the West Village and want a quick bite to eat or some coffee while you people watch, I would definitely suggest coming here. The food is your run of the mill diner fare but you cannot beat the prices. The staff was friendly and most of the other customers seemed like regulars. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and simple but delicious food. Will be going back again!

Amazing! Such a cute little diner with excellent service. Had the mouthwateting banana chocolate chip pancakes. They're very accommodating and served my friend French toast with bananas and chocolate chips on top. Perfectly cooked eggs, great bacon and coffee refills. The prices are incredibly low and the service is unbelievable good and fast. Come here asap!

Small small!, family operated restaurant. Great service and a nice menu. Omelette was a tiny bit overdone, but the oatmeal at the next table looked amazing with fresh blueberries! My water and coffee were never empty, and everyone was friendly.
