Beers lived up to the hype, great selection and crisp. Somewhat pricey but what airport isn't gouging their customers right now. The food was better than your standard airport food thats for sure. I was displeased that the server told me that he loved the Korean BBQ tacos the most out of anything, and they were not fresh and tasted like they had been cooked a while ago. The spinach salad with chicken was great though and the wrap was OK as well. 4/5 I think is far. Around $100 for all.
I just have to rave about Maggie. She is amazing & made the experience so much fun. Great personality & a people person. Very knowledgeable about Sweetwater & the beers. Keep her around! Also, best boiled peanuts I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Atlanta.
Great beer and food. The ambiance is great. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating. The service is good the price is reasonable.
Underwhelming. Finally came after living in ATL for several years. Bartenders went out of their way on a non-busy afternoon to not make eye contact. Couple sat to our right and bartender went over immediately. Another two sat to our left and were greeted immediately. Still, we sat. Original bartender noted we needed to be served to the other bartender and he finally acknowledged us. Got two beers and food. No one ever checked back in to see if we wanted another round or how food was. Food was actually very good, which is most of the reason they’re getting 3/5 stars. Quality of beer also helped. Service was disappointing and we will not come back. Plenty of other nearby breweries with comparable beer and food but better staff.
Caitie Sokley and crew were AMAZING! Our son got married at Sweetwater this weekend and they certainly over delivered! Caitie was an excellent host and she was on top of things all throughout the night. She and her team did a fabulous job of taking care of us. Her attention to detail and making sure the evening flowed well was much appreciated. The food was excellent and the beer was exceptional! I would highly recommend Sweetwater for your venue and catering needs.
Wide selection of brews, matched with great food. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and had the right amount of lettuce to make you feel less guilty about eating a plate full of fried food!
Beer was good. The food however was rather average. We had some tasty sides but the oysters were tasteless. This can be a one off though. So don’t stop visiting them if you’re are around
First time visiting Atlanta, Sweetwater brewery was definitely a top choice. Maggie exceeded our expectations! Will come here anytime we come through Atlanta!
We usually use Sweetwater as a place to meet friends before going somewhere else. This time we just happened to be in the neighborhood and heard a live band playing so stopped to check it out. Up front I have to say that neither of us are IPA fans so take our opinion with a grain of salt. Luckily they had "Broken Coast" lager available and we really liked. We also had the fries with ranch which were killer. The band I'm sorry, I can't remember the name was good too so it was a perfect afternoon outside.
A pleasant afternoon lunch at the Taproom. Sweetwater has a big selection of house beers and some really good sandwiches, soups and salads. Very nice space with wood and industrial accents. The patio looked like a great place to lounge - weather permitting. It was a bit cold today so inside was the best choice! Order beer and food at the bar then relax...what could be nicer.
