Dr. Swonke and his team are so wonderful! My family and I have been going here for 3+ years and they have always been very capable, helpful, and friendly. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience! Procedures are always quick and painless. 10/10 would recommend this dentist.
I had dental work completed 2/1 by Dr. Swonke — fill-ins and replacing old silver fill-ins. Before the procedure, I was given my quote however after the procedure, the numbers change. Apparently Dr. Swonke took it upon himself to fill another cavity “while I was numb” without discussing it with me first and expected me to pay more. The amount was adjusted back to original total however, that was not okay. 2/13 - I was back in the office with unexpected tooth pain that caused a great deal of grief. I told the hygienist and Dr. Swonke that I have been having pain on the left side since the procedure. However, I couldn’t locate the pain to a particular tooth and I THOUGHT the pain was coming from the lower left. The pain occurred only while chewing which led me to only utilize the right side of my mouth to eat. Dr. Swonke took his dental tool, tapped my teeth to locate the source of pain, nothing happened. Sprayed cold on a Q-tip, pressed it against my teeth and proceeded to tell me that my teeth are just sensitive and referred me to a root canal specialist and provided medication for the pain. An x-ray was also complete however nothing was found. Dr. Swonke specially said if the pain doesn’t improve or if my jaw becomes swollen to call the office and he will see me asap. 2/17 - the pain hasn’t gotten any better. Medication prescribed was taken as well as home remedies. I called Dr. Swonke’s office and the office was closed however, there was an option to leave a message in the case of “emergencies” .. I left a voicemail at 9:45am. My mother left a message around 10am. I left another message at 12:37pm. Still no follow-up so why is there an “emergency” option. Thankfully, by noon, Emergency Dental was able to see me and provide better assistance that made me feel heard/better. Dr. Swonke never checked for the upper left molar that he worked on which was exactly where the pain was coming from again, I can only feel like pain while chewing. The fill-in that Dr. Swonke did was not drilled down enough too tall that now caused my tooth to be “traumatized” and inflamed. Emergency Dental corrected his mistake and drilled the fill-in down. Not to mention, I scheduled the root canal consultation but that isn’t until 2/23. On top of that, I had to pay another bill at Emergency Dental as if money grows on tress when I just paid Dr. Swonke’s office a lot of money. So I basically can’t eat and have been in excruciating pain for all of Feb! All of this to say, all of this could have been avoided if I had received the proper care and attention that all patients deserve in Dr. Swonke’s office. Listening to patients the first time around could save a lot of trouble. I am not happy with this dentist office and I will not be returning. Thank you Dr. Swonke.
I have been going to Dr Swonke for almost 10 years. He and his staff are great, patient and gentle. They are quick and efficient. I am always in and out of the office quickly with very short wait times. He has some of the best hygienist, dental assistants and front office staff. The newest edition to the staff is the sweetest emotional support dog, Piper, who is available a few days per week for patients. I highly recommend Dr. Swonke if you are in need of a new dentist.
I love Dr. Swonke and his staff! They always go above and beyond and accommodate appointment requests that work around my own work schedule. Hannah is both fantastic and gentle, leaving my teeth feeling clean. Additionally, Dr. Swonke has a great bedside manner. I recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone!
This office is truly an anomaly! I am over 10 years in receiving dental care from Dr. Swonke and his staff and have yet to experience anything but exceptional service, respect and comfort. If 10 stars were an option, I would go all the way out!!!
Dr. Swonke and the entire staff is absolutely amazing!!!! Everytime I visit the service is exceptional. From the receptionist to the dental hygienist and of course Dr. Swonke; I always receive through information on procedures and dental hygiene. I can say my dental health is better than it has ever been. You won't be disappointed.
Dr. Swonke is a great dentist and extremely professional. His staff is courteous and helpful. Unfortunately prior to seeing Dr. Swonke, I went to see a dentist for dental work which did not end well. I was referred to Dr. Swonke by a friend and I wish I had known about him from the start! He has helped me with my teeth issues, and I am very pleased with the progress I have made so far. I highly recommend him; I will refer anyone I know to his practice.
Dr Swonke is the best. He’s very direct and confident which I appreciate. Also the staff is so friendly, and can recognize me by name with a mask on. This type of environment makes me feel comfortable and at ease while they dig through my mouth lol.
I've been a patient at Dr. Swonke's office for approximately five years. I have always been given great dental care and cleanings, as well as sound advice on taking care of my teeth. The office is very well run and effective. Although I don't like the idea of sitting in a dentist's exam room, at least Dr. Swonke and his staff lessen the pain of the experience by being friendly and efficient!
The Dental Assistant was very thorough and easy to communicate with. Dr. Swonke was personable and open to answering questions. Administrative staff were professional and friendly. The office uses interactive technology to help educate the patient about the health of their teeth via enlarged imaging of dental x-rays and pictures. Doing so is an excellent resource for the patient. Among the best part of any medical experience is clarity and understanding.
