This is a great place with many scenic views. TC Steele chose this place for the natural environment and a place for him to be able to focus on his still-lifes. It offers several trails where Steele and his wife would travel and set up a new landscape. One trail also connects with the Tecumseh Trail through Southern Indiana. Through the Indiana State Museum they offer tours of the his art studio and home for the later years of his life. Overall it is a pleasant visit in both good and poor weather.

Beautiful quiet place for a nice walk through nature. Paintings are fabulous.

This is a truly beautiful, peaceful, interesting place. The history, trails, gardens, and woods are lovely. Andrea, the Site Manager, is exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. I was there for 2 full days coordinating a wedding, and T.C. Steele is now on my highly recommended list for events as well as for hiking and painting!!!

Great place, knew nothing about The T. C. Steele before visiting. Very good tour. Lots of original art and furnishings.
