Very good quality of meat for a simple, juicy $12 cheeseburger, although it wasn't medium rare as requested. This place is big, it was nice and quiet on NYE. Good service at the bar. Spacious and clean bathroom.
The staff was very friendly and helpful when I couldn't choose what to eat. I was told that only rye bread was available in the restaurant, so immediately the corned beef sandwich was out for me personally, but the Shepherd's Pie was suggested and boy was it good! Nice and hot, the perfect dinner for a windy cold night. I definitely want to go back and try other items on the menu.
I had the cheeseburger. It was terrible. Over cooked and low quality meat. I included a picture of the fries because that was the saving grace. They were great! Also, the bar itself is spacious and pretty kewl atmosphere. Unfortunately it doesn't feel Irish at all so two stars still with the crummy food.
Excellent! I love any Patriots bar, but a Patriots bar in Manhattan?! Yes, it's big, it's Irish and the owner loves the Patriots! Good food and drink menu/specials. Enjoy! #TB12
Tir na nog has a large bar as well as table seating space. Of the few times I've visited it, I've never had to wait to be seated. The bar staff is nice and casual. The crowd is typically mature, and the music is non-intrusive so it's a good place to unwind after a long day. The food is okay, not too good and not bad. Overall, it's a good place to simply have a drink and relax.
What a blast we had watching the Pats at Tir na Nog! Great food, great drinks, great service! Our server Tara couldn't have been any better! I will go again for the next Pats game in NY! Excellent atmosphere! Loved it!
Great and noisy, 82 dB Irish pub a half block from my hotel, perfect bangers n mash with a Guinness after a long flight from Alaska...
Don't you ever never try-eat-order the Buffalo wings. Probably the worst wings I've ever had in my life. You only live once - spend your time and money on better junk.
Great place for loud music, beers and great food Enjoy!!!!
Great beer choices and good food. The "poutine" is great but, being canadian from Quebec, that is not what we call a poutine back home.
