Cute and cozy place! The back garden is adorable. We tried a few different things and the Portuguese Croquettes and the Pasteis de Nata were our favorites. The plates were all tapas size, so it was easy to share a bunch of different dishes.
What a wonderful restaurant with very interesting dishes and a personal service. We ordered 2 small dishes because we where not very hungry and it was already late. We had a great experience
Service is great, very friendly, fried sardines was delicious, Spanish sausage is a bit salty but still expectable, octopus is great, and the warm egg custard cake is a must try.
Friendly staff and delicious food- just the wait was really long for some reason. But they made sure we got our food and even provided us sangria as an apology. Food was very flavorful.
Best Portuguese codfish "bacalhau à brás" in New York. The staff is super friendly, the space is super cozy and the wine is amazing too. They also have a very good playlist in the background. 5*
Beautiful place and that's all. Pricey. Food took time to come to our table it was only fried calamari.
A cozy place with a garden in the back. Delicious tapas. Outdoor heating lamps keeps it warm while enjoying the outdoor seating. There is also the option to scan your order but you must have the app or else there is a menu which is passed around. The menu is also on their website. I will be back again
Terrible awful. Only thing that tasted Portuguese was the Super Bock. Spent a fortune just trying to get full on the little overpriced dishes. Two skinny people spent $120 just on food and we left hungry. Service was apathetic; you don’t really get a waiter you order it all yourself on an app then get a disengaged food runner. Then the app adds automatic 20% tip. Really didn’t know what we were tipping for. It was a very disappointing meal I wish we hadn’t gone.
Excellent place with a very nice environment. Has amazing food and really shows talent in the kitchen. No one will forget their experience at this restaurant. The first impression doesn’t show much, but never judge a book by it’s cover! If you do, you won’t experience an incredible moment in your life.
The good reviews mislead me into taking my daughters to what I believed would be a good Portuguese restaurant. I paid 91 dollars for food that did not resemble Portuguese dishes in taste, presentation and quality. Presenting a dish in Portuguese traditional pottery doesn't constitute Portuguese food. Would not return or recommend to anyone.
