Tabernacle United Church

This the church where I have chosen to raise my family. I want them to know a God whose love is big and for all. Tabernacle is a community rooted in following the way of Jesus-- radically-inclusive and justice-seeking. Worship is meaningful, children are welcomed and nurtured, all are celebrated just as God made them. The fellowship of folks is warm and loving.

This church is both welcoming and spiritually filling. I have felt welcome here from my first visit, and now a year later I count this church as home. The church is dedicated to Jesus' Gospel message of care for the outcast and is often at the forefront of social justice issues in the Philly-area.

I love this church! After moving from Chicago last year, we were looking for a place that was welcoming, progressive, and inclusive. We found this and so much more at Tab. The church is a wonderful community of people that care and are passionate advocates for justice and peace. We are so happy to call this faith community home.

I walked into this service by accident and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll visit again.
